Hi Mike after a week in a muddy landfill in Rhode island spent two hours washing last night and then washed again first thing this morning. Do I have a problem? Thanks for the videos
This is so relaxing. When I was a toddler back in Kansas, one of the few memories I can still accurately recall from then was watching trucks dump dirt into a lot across the street of my parent’s apartment. I’d sit at the window every time one of the trucks pulled up and be amazed by the how the dump trucks worked
Over in Australia the first trailer is called a tip over axle, I reckon the last word is optional ! I have known guys who have driven frame tippers and very good at it and they have nearly all lost one.
@@TheBostonTrucker definitely a lot of respect for them as well. Can never let your guard down. They also say if the frameless tips you got a good chance that the truck will still be upright.
Drove a 40' frameless 5 years. Always heard that it's not IF you lose one it's WHEN. Didn't lose one myself, but my Dad with 30 years of dump experience did tip one over. Eventually luck runs out
Chris McGaughey you can't let your guard down with any dump frameless or not. The first thing you have to come to grips with before you decide to drive a dump truck is that you have a 50/50 chance every time you dump that things WILL go wrong. If you cant deal with the fact that one day you will lay one over do something else. This from a 63 yr old with 40yrs experience ahd so far I had one go over. I guess I am over due. Shit I said that out loud
hey man i love your videos but can you try and add less music? i love hearing the growl of the diesel engines, even if its just the range selector or splitter as driver shifts. keep truckin buddy love your vids, found you off the old mack 12 speed vid you posted
In this video I explain it at the end but in this particular truck it's more complicated than a regular truck. th-cam.com/video/og5UEIvXoIE/w-d-xo.html
So you’re backing to where you wanna dump at after , the transmission has to be in neutral to engage the pto? Or it needs to be in gear , because i understand you need to pull up a little so all the load can go down , im planning to drive a dump truck, kenworth w900
Back up to a level spot to dump, being level is key, drop all your air bags. Engage PTO, raise body. The truck is in neutral while dumping with your brakes released but your foot on the brake and I also have my hand brake pulled down. When my trailer is about 80% up and as long as most of the load is flowing out, I'll release the hand and foot brakes and start rolling ahead slowly, not jerking the trailer, as you roll forward the load continues to pour out and the trailer keeps going up. When your empty, disengage the PTO by pushing the clutch all the way in and flip the switch off.
@@TheBostonTrucker that's impressive. Our 3 axle (tandem with a lift) 36 foot on a truck with a bunk we are only getting 33 ton. That's hauling into New York from Ontario, grossed out at 107,000 lbs. Those trailers are aluminum frame too.
@@TheBostonTrucker your to kool was really hopping we could meet up in Kentucky this year for the show but you know unfortunately not gonna happen brother. See ya on the highway in the LEFT LANE right behind you my friend.
Mixer man , some of the trucking co's. Down here in the coal fields bought those for their lite weight = heavyer groose weight , quickly found out they were a complete pile of sh#t , couldn't haul over fourty. Tons , while dumping all the weight of trailer stands up on rear axle causing tire to blow out = trailer turning over , couple people even got killed trailer turning over on cab of their truck , I think most tippels. = coal dump , finely ban them from their property
I like how you take so much pride in cleaning your truck it always is 👍
Thank you 😊

I think a 10" 12 gauge straight drop visor would look perfect on your truck mike. Very nice daycab
I agree! I hate my visor, it's 12 gauge but not what I thought it would look like.
Quack Quack, that frameless was dancing Jack 😎
Pucker factor!
TheBostonTrucker you got that right! Mines only 26 foot and all the wheels stay on the ground!
What is the difference of first dumper compared to the others?
The first is a frameless and mine has a frame.
Where's the MACK???? Was that sticks you just dumped off ?? It looked like 1/2 load.
It was half a load of brush.
@@TheBostonTrucker where was the MACK 🤔👍
Nice lookin Pete!!
Should of called it Takin A Dump LOL
🤪
Happiness is a good dump👌👌
I've been end dumping for 8 months. That sway the frameless trailer did happens on our 48' 4 axles as well. Still sketches the hell out of me.
I've got a ton of respect for those frameless truckers! They all say they're more stable.

New video about to be posted inspired by your comment...no music!
@@TheBostonTrucker amazing man i loved it!! thanks for being the best trucking content creator :)
Do you ever come up to No to pr russel get bark mulch
No
how many tons can you haul?
Leon Searfass as many as you can get away with.
The most for where I am is 80k pounds I think
That full frame is a little heavy but it looks more stable.
Ooooh yeah
Can you make a video on how to work the PTO im in driving school right now and i wanna lear how to work the pto
Put the clutch in, engage the PTO switch, move the lever to lift the trailer.

Nice time to get the pledge out #1
You must have missed my video where I said I don't recommend using Pledge anymore, think it made me ill.
I think we live in Seattle anymore lol. Maybe it’s just me
Yeah right!
BOSS MUSIC
🥳
hate those frameless dumps. The only good thing about them is that they don't take the whole truck with them when they flip.
Sometimes they do.
They just flipped a nice new one horse also. In jolley mulch plant in Rhode island on asphalt , experienced driver.
How did I miss this video I was robbed. Hey Mike
🤭 you're to funny!

Those frameless dumps look so hairy to dump.
