I have the same exact radio, It was my dads he got as a birthday gift when he was a kid. I just begun restoring. This give me great motivation to get it done.
Zenith Radios were pretty well sold exclusively in America. They are hard to find in Canada and other countries. I had to very actively look for my trans/oceanics both the tube and solid state ones. Canada had its own RCA's models and styles out of Montreal, and many Grimes/Electrohome (Kitchener Ontario) models were built for retail stores and Eaton's. Canada also had Canadian Marconi's that were lovely advanced radio's. They were completely in line with Zenith models in features and top styling. I'm sharing this FYI. The main thing is enjoy your radio's that represent incredible advancements for their time. 🙂
Hi Kyle : Please , why all the vintage radios technicians don't refurbish and restore the back lumen ( the machine place) of the consoles and cabinets !
@@ksandtv I saw, it now it nice and pro. please from your point of view what are the top historical retro radio companies in manufacturing the most luxurious wooden cabinets ( the furniture peace of the radios) thanks Kyle 🙂

Excellent restoration job! Those old radios are just pieces of art!

Very cool that it was your grandparents....nice job restoring it. I like the addition of bluetooth, good use for the old tube amp and big speaker.
Thank you for saving this beautiful radio. Great job.
Looks like you may be in an area where you can receive 580 CKWW? A great oldies station modeled after the classic CKLW in Windsor Ontario.
So beautiful! You did a fantastic job!! 👏 👏 👏
Beautiful work!
Good work 👍

There's a lot of noise in the background, like someone trying to play a damaged trumpet.
