    There could never be a Knifeaholic's Anonymous... We'd all gather in rooms and realize that everyone is carrying something and just spend a ton of time sharing and comparing and then leave going, "I must go buy that now..."

    • @mwehrh
      @mwehrh 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      BudgetBugout could u make a video where u compare the three new moras so the eldris, the garberg and the kansbol (if possible before Christmas 😉). And could u go more in the detail when explaining if for u the kansbol is a god knife or if u would step up the game to the garberg!
      That d be awesome,
      Moritz (germany,15)

    • @lino5167
      @lino5167 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Momo, Javier here from Argentina. I don't think BudgetBugout will put up that video in the timeframe that you required, but if you're torn between the Kansbol and the Garberg you might want to check the video that Everydaytacticalvids did on the Mora 2000 vs the Bushcraft.
      Think of the Kansbol as an updated version of the 2000 and the Garberg as a stainless batoning apt version of the bushcraft. I would go for the Garberg in my opinion, because of the grind, the Garberg has a complete scandi (which will eventually turn into a microbeveled edge, and I personally love those), whereas the Kansbol has that multi grind that goes from a scandi near the handle to a flat grind towards the tip, which looks great but doesn't function as well when carving wood.
      However if what you do mostly is hunting/skinning/cooking and ocassional feathersticks and light batoning (and I mean really light, branches of up to 3 or 4 cm in diameter) I would go for the kansbol; since you got a scandi part near the handle for feathering and the flatter grind near the tip for skinning, you don't need as beefy of a knife and the price is not justified, in my opinion.
      Hope it helped. Hope you never get to win another World Cup. Ever. ^^.

      @robinpohl2702 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Momo 010814 i got the light my fire it's a nice knife but I wouldn't baton it, so you you want to throw it in a bug out bag and only use in extreme conditions go for the garberg or even a flock field knife don't know if you want to carry it or use in sthf . If you use it for hiking small tasks and carving then get something cheaper with a thinner blade I'm pretty happy with the light my fire you don't have to care about using it or the ferro rod because it's cheap and the ferro can be bought single for other hard tasks I use the boker para one which is currently my edc while I'm searching for a fullsized fixed or a nice folder it performs pretty good even without handle. When I was selling cutlery I could never keep a Benchmade 94X in my pocket for more than a day. Didn't matter how rare the model, how limited the edition, how expensive it was. Within 24 hours someone would ask me, "Well what do YOU carry?" And *poof* my 940 variant would disappear into the new customer's pocket. Once holding it, they had to have it. Purple, blue, red, green, black, serrated/plain, black/plain, the knife vanished and a customer left with a grin from ear to ear. BUY one. You'll love it.

    The way right dude(aka larger dude) looks at left dude(aka smaller dude, and more knowledgeable dude) makes me thinks that larger dude, is gay for smaller dude IMO. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Hahahahahahaha. but seriously tho. You're gay. You know how I know? BC you said it disappeared in your pocket big dude. In all seriousness tho, I do enjoy your knife reviews. Keep up the gay work. Hope I didn't make you feel to uncomfortable. Btw not gay. But your editor makes you both seem like you're both really gay. Which probably means that he is in fact gay. Have a gay day, Gaylord's.

    No need to let the hobby get out of hand. You want to explore the various types. But sell off the ones that don't move you. I own two near identical Boker Kalishnikovs that are my favorite all purpose knife. I have a Spyderco Delica that I like as a utility knife. It's light enough that I carry it the most. It works best when I am wearing lightweight sport shorts. The materials used make for a very durable finish knife that will look good the rest of my life. I have a Benchmade Proper gentlemans folder that I will likely sell off since I don't carry it much. It's really made for a guy who wears a suit to an office. Most recently I bought a Steel Will, Cut-jack flipper knife. I just wanted to aquaint myself with the flipper type. I don't like it better than the automatic knife type.

    Hope everyone at Blade HQ is ready to do a update video coming up soon to see how many more he has added to the collection! Love the videos guys. Watch them as soon as possible then just for fun to get my daily dose of knives (similar to the feeling of crack) while flipping my Griptilian or my Kershaw Launch 4 or Blade HQ exclusive stedemon spinner! The addiction is real 😩

    I was one click away from buying a Kalashnikov and then I checked Boyer’s warranty. No warranty or service. Yes, I know it is cheap. But that bothered me

    Time to go custom. Warning ⚠ you will look back at these purchases as the really inexpensive early days and you may never go back!
    Great choices so far and at least you probably aren't stuck paying retail like the rest of us! 😁 Great job.

    Me, my dad, my brother, and my cousin were using an air compressor on a regular plastic fidget spinner. We were smart enough to wear some gloves, but we got carried away and the spinner blew up. One piece hit me just under my eye and im very lucky cause i would have probably went blind in my strong eye. That was the last of fidget spinners for me.

    I right there with you. Brothers in addiction bro. I tend to go for the 4" or 3.75" blades for edc. 4" is our CT legal limit for carry not ownership. If I'm going to get a small knife I usually go traditional like a stockman or something. I don't see the point of going smaller on a tactical blade. The sheeple factor isn't even a thought for me. As long as my knife is legal I couldn't care less what people think about it.
