As a gesture of independence Wales should INSIST that the tax revenue leaving Wales matches the WM grant hence nullifying the myth that Wales is heavily subsidied.
@@501sqn3 that's only £250 per person living in England. So if Wales didn't exist, each household of four people would get a reduction of a grand in their council tax which they'd potentially waste on hard drugs so we're doing you a MASSIVE favour. Oh, and thanks for paying for s4c as well. Not that I ever watch it, apart from live sport because it's more fun watching Wales with Welsh commentary
Looking forward to Wales getting it 80 billion pounds of water we sell to England and we get absolutely nothing and 5 billion pounds of crown estate that we don't get the quicker we go the better it is
I'm not too sure if you mean that I only "sort of" explained the debate in this video or not, but I definitely agree with you if that's what you mean! Since I started making videos on this channel, I have really found it difficult to cover any given topic in as much detail as I would like while also not making each and every video over 40 minutes long. I think it's something I've gotten better at recently but I still find it extremely difficult to find the right balance. Some videos like this one had details omitted that I think I shouldn't have cut from the script in highsight, but I'm glad I made them as I still think Welsh Politics is extremely under-represented in UK-based and international media. Thanks so much for commenting and watching! :) Hopefully, I can improve for next time if you watch another video in the future! :)

Wales is the most heavily subsidised country in Europe 🤦
@@501sqn3 not really. For every £ spent in Wales, we gladly chip in 70p.
@@tombartram7384 the welsh deficit is currently running in access of over 14 BILLION pounds a year!! ,.......
Every bloody year 😤

@@senoner90 Yeah sorry I know, it drives me nuts when I'm editing. Hopefully, I can stop it for future videos or at least cut more of them out! :)
