The stores here, US, are putting out Halloween already. I'm happy for those who love it but I want summer to last longer. I get teary when I know the birds have migrated and when my gardens go dormant. Your yoga practice is inspirational! I think I should go back to it for my own health. Have a lovely week!
I love everything about this peaceful video. The apple turnovers look so yummy. I'm in Louisiana in the US, and it is so HOT right now. We've had temps in the low 100 degrees (not exactly sure what the Celsius conversion is for that high temp), and I have been craving cooler weather so much. I couldn't agree more with you about how preparing for the cooler seasons is in our DNA from our ancestors, because I absolutely find myself looking forward to autumn and making my plans regarding soup making, taking down my cozy blankets, looking at my tea to see if any has gone bad so I can start buying more for the colder months, etc., all in preparation for staying inside and slowing down. It's like a type of nesting or hibernation preparation in a way.
I really need to visit the UK. The countryside looks breathtaking.
That said, I'd like to again, compliment you on a lovely video. It's so peaceful that my cat curled up on the couch next to me and went to sleep. 😄 I've subscribed from this one video. Lovely cardigan collection, by the way.

You are so right about preparing all summer for the months ahead. Growing up we helped in the garden to have food to prepare for winter storage. Seeing those berries reminds me of picking those in the wild on summer evenings. So much has been taken away by so much building and pavement. Loved your video.

The celts divided the seasons differently and 1st August was the first day of Autumn which is why June 21st is considered MID summer not the first month of summer. The welsh for July actually means end of summer. So if people judge you for celebrating early just explain you follow the original celtic british seasons!

I say let people be happy for everything they want if nobody is harmed. So let the shopping for the fall season start. 😊❤ It's the same everywhere, you won't find those things in autumn. And in October I start to buy for Christmas.
