I think it would be awesomely magical to add glowberry vines to the mangrove trees and shroom lights to the mud. I think inviting such magical forces would deter the undead and other monsters without destroying too much of the lovely swamp biome.
Shelby has taken empires into a whole different level! I love how her story is constantly showing throughout the episodes. I badly want to know what will happen next.
A small lore that came to mind today: The Evermoore used to be safer. It was full of forest spirits that would guide travellers safely through the woods, keeping them from disappearing within the fog forever. One day, though, the Evermoore began to be the destination witches got sent to prove themselves. Not all of them were very nice. After one too many witches took advantage of the forest spirits’ kindness and/or destroyed their homes, the spirits left, one by one. Eventually, no more spirits lived in the woods, and the fog began to claim souls at an ever-increasing rate. Maybe the spirits will come back eventually, if they haven’t made a home somewhere else. Until then, the Evermoore will keep stealing people away for the rest of eternity…
Waiiiit… the EMPIRES SEASON ONE universe? (While Shelby was in the nether I was 100% trying to pray to Aeyor that Xorny would appear. I MAY have tried to summon him like Beatlejuce… “Xornoth Xornoth Xornoth!!”)
It's been so interesting seeing the differences between Shrub's building style and Witch Shelby's style. Shrub built into the land and was very in tune with the heart of the land whereas Shelby's been clear cutting and talking a lot about stripping away the mangrove and pushing back the fog. Can't wait to see the builds and the lore this season!
To be honest it would be perfect backstory of villain witch. She was trying help and at the end she expelled and lost her witch status. With broken dreams , anger if she decided to get revenge. It would be really cool But anyways I love your videos Shelby. You never fail entartein us.♥️💖

I’m feeling a Shubble villain arc. Hear me out- all this about the mangrove and the fog ‘claiming souls’ gives me the idea that maybe it could do something to Shelby (corrupt her, in a way). There also seems to be a lot of potential foreshadowing as well such as the interaction with Lizzie (she sees Shelby as a threat). I could just be overthinking this but from a lore perspective it seems that Shubble is most likely to be the villain of the season. Unless, of course, it’s like season 1 and there is a completely new character as the villain.
I love the direction you are going with your empire, but I really think you still need to have a lot of trees and to have it be somewhat hidden in a way
I called that geminitay, Katherine and you would be the most likely to have an evil arc. You were my second pick. Geminitay was the first one. The only reason I put geminitay first because I could tell she was really enjoying herself during her chaotic episode in season 1. Both fwhip and Katherine were trying hold their laughter in. But you did it so well.

Shelby you can get more spells by getting "arrows" of different things for example, slowness spell/arrow or turtle master spell/arrow, etc. I think that would be really cool spells other than fire spells.
Id like to see that when the Academy go looking for her the only safe place is the mushroom, due to coming from a parallel universe and that would mean their magic would be different than that mushrooms because it was created by Shelby so only her magic works against the mushroom
