Vito was a legend. i put him right up there with the greats. his riff writing ability was unlike anyone's. i always thought white lion stood out from the pack back in the day. their first album is still, to this day, one of my fav albums of all time and remains in constant rotation. it's great that you're keeping his legacy alive.

I used the Line 6 HELIX's model of the Friedman amp (Placater Dirty), with a Minotaur (their Klon clone) through a 4x12 Greenback20 cab with delay and reverb. Funny thing is that Vito plays that riff only once in the music. just at the intro. He never repeats it. Only plays the second half at the very end of the song. And that's it.

I saw White Lion open for AC/DC and they unfairly got a bad reception from the AC/DC fans. In the intro riff Vito actually does a pull off between the 9th and 7th fret on the "A" string.
