What an amazing series. Congratulations to the winner since he well deserved it and have been a big fan for a while now. Props to both players for playing their hearts out.
Wow - great job guys! Excellent commentary; both sharing your thoughts and trying to get into the heads of each player. Matt Canik and team did a great job throughout - very respectful of everyone. Morris provided a wonderful viewpoint. Although Morris should be glad he didn't put money on the line. When game 3 started, he said I'd give Mack a 15-20% chance of winning the tournament! 😂 Yet to keep my attention for 5 hours is quite a feat! And I played at SPC and learned a ton there and from this video.
There are multiple ways to pronounce Ian. For example, there is a chess player named Ian, and he pronounces it with a Y sound. I'm assuming the casters are pronouncing it correctly.
That was an amazing back-and-forth series right to the end. A shame I got spoiled on the result before watching it 😅
Just finished watching back this stream - thank you both for the great coverage!

They both played so well. This is the peak Scrabble series
Honestly one of the best sporting events I’ve ever watched.

Phenomenal play on both sides and excellent coverage.
Great games gents, down to the wire.... Who says Scrabble can't be exciting to watch?
Oh man, 32:10. He would’ve made so much point for “Compiler” if “Le” was a word. Just saying
Holy cow!!!!!
Great games!
MACK-nificent display till the end 🤯
Fix description (wrong names)
Thanks, fixed!
Game 5 was one game with $5,000 (not $10,000) on the line, because Ian received $5,000.
is there any replay of the CSW finals?
Not on video - you can see the boards here and play through the moves here - event.scrabbleplayers.org/games/nsc2024/ - CSW-F1, CSW-F2, and CSW-F3
wow
Lads, do ye not know that "Ian" should be pronounced "Ian" and not "eye-Ann"... aside from that, some good Scrabble content here, well done.

The casters did their work and ask him to confirm his name was pronounced as [ajən] I assumed!
His name is pronounced eye-ann
We confirmed it with him directly before the broadcast, they are pronouncing it correctly.
yes we pronounced it right lol (except I messed up a few times and even called Ian "Seth" at one point lmao)
