Map is not saved, thus cannot be set to clean a specific area.. or am I using the app wrong? My dad has the previous version of the same with Lidar sensor and it has the feature of saving the map and selecting the specific area to clean...

You didn't explain how water goes out side to moisture mop when water filled into mop water is not utilized then how it be corrected to mopping.

Sir, pl check once again whether it can clean a particular room in the house. I doubt because in its mobile app no option is there to assign task for a particular room. Therefore I returned the unit after use of 3 days.
Unfortunately no there is no option to clean a specific room, though it is possible to add the feature. This is for full home cleaning, but in case you need just one room cleaning and say that room separates from other room with doors one can close the door and run the program

Without specific room cleaning and virtual wall creation functionality it is a waste. We are using it for 6 days. It goes wherever it wants.

yes it does, you however do not get option to clean individual room just all the rooms.

I also bought this robot vaccum and it got delivered 5 days back. As you mentioned in video it creates map and we get option to clean specific room. I don't see any option. Even i watched another review they mentioned the same issue. Can you elaborate how you are getting option to clean specific room with robot vaccum mop 2i.

Let it run for full clean, after clean up, it will return to the dock station, will ask you to save map 🗺️, save it , after saving you can target any area

Yes ,it is not showing any option to save map. Yesterday it is delivered. Vaccume is good. But no map saving till now.

mop 2 pro has double the battery (5200 mah) as well as the suction is(3000pa) i.e 800pa more than mop2i. Even the navigation system is better

It does not have map management functionality. That means, you can not do spot cleaning or can not create virtual wall. Without that feature you can not instruct it to clean specific area. Very disappointing. I would suggest to go for vaccume mop p instead.
Yes, virtual wall option is not available nor option to clean specific room. But there is option for spot cleaning as I am using it. There is a spiral symbol when you operate in MI home app. We need to press that to do spot cleaning.
Without functionality to create virtual wall and specific room cleaning, Its a waste. It goes in the area where we dont want it to go.

Never purchase Xiome Robo mop device.I have very bad experience. I purchased device in dec 2021 and within one month it was damaged. Programming of device was corrupted. And when I raised complaint in customer care, the service was too bad. Service centre in aundh pune replaced damaged parts like dust compartment and brush in my device.frequently I raised a ticket in customer care but the response in service centre is horrible.every time they returned me damaged device and it was never repaired.

Its one of the worst robot vacuum mops I have used till date. It does not have map functionality which is wrongly stated in the video. After one week of usage the vacuum mop started behaving abruptly, following random paths and moved at a very slow speed. It can clean rouglhy 350 sqft in one charge. Very bad product. Don't waste your money on this.
