We lack a bit of speed and physicality in the back line. Now what’s interesting is to see how it’s going to play out between Iñigo and Cubarsí. But as far as Araujo, he’s good for sure.
I believe we shouldn't overthink about Araujo. He probably won't be coming back until the last 3rd of the season so its better to not think about these things. Furthermore, next season, fingers crossed if we win everything, I feel Inigo will be used from the bench or transferred out if Araujo returns...
We need another player with a similar profile to Araujo so that he can get a bit of competition in the squad, the other cbs are mainly ball playing whereas Araujo is mostly a puyol type player. A player like Romero or a similar profile would help barca
Swithching Araujo with Inigo is not at all a bad idea considering the high line and his ball recovery .He may not be as good of a ball player as inigo has been this season but the decrease in the recovery runs that cubarsi will have to do can make up for it.I think arujo and cubarsi will be my starting pair
Whooaa there, cowboy ! While I do see your point, you can't put Araujo and Szczesny on the same level. Their situations are totally different. No, we don't. There were more 7 YT Barca channels plus ESPN plus many other channels already. Countless negative comments have been made and "supporters" who previously said Hansi Flick was the best thing that happened to Barcelona were quick to demolish him and the team they claimed they support. Sh*t happens to any team in a season, even more than once. It doesn't mean anything, it doesn't subtract anything from the extraordinary achievements we already had this season. Sh*t happens, life goes on. Don't dwell on one negative.
I think that he will be coming off the bench this half of the season. But after the Christmas break, things will be different. Araujo has had time to adapt to the team style, and that combined with his physicality makes him better than any of the other CBs in the team. I think another factor will be how Flick will choose to approach certain games. Araujo's recovery from a strikers run is unrivalled, so perhaps teams that dribble around CBs will require a player Araujo's profile.
Aroujo is not the best passer but he knows that. Unlike some CB's he doesn't rush playing the ball when not being preesed but tends to run into space left infront of him making the pass that used to be hard easier because he is closer to them. And if you press him he will pass it to the keeper or Cubarsi.
anyone that questions the team's need for araujo to come back probably thinks they are players in a video game lmfao. "inigo and cubarsi have been perfect so far" ok but one is 17 and the other is 33, how much more are they going to play without being rested? not to mention that if the offside trap fails somehow, araujo is the type of player that you want to track back and save the day and i dont really get the correlation to wojtek, the two situations are so so different
From some reason you avoid the fact that Roland is very weak on the ball. ⚽️ He doesn’t have the technique to be in a high defensive line because he don’t know how to move the ball forward. He is offensive liability It’s a problem 😢other than that 😊he is the best in the world. 🌎 🎉
If our team it’s exposed because our high line . Araujo is much more needed . In socidad game araujo will cover much more space and maul the forwards in front of him .
Itis not a problem,. Tucking Fermin in and not having width is a problem. Useless Fati as a sub when Pablo Torre who contributes is a problem. Not having a good CD to let Cubarsi mend is a problem
Cubarsi and Inigo might be better than him at build-up, but he's the strongest player in the squad. Inigo and Cubarsi have similar profiles, and Araujo is different, we need different profiles for tactical options
Also, Cubarsi is 17. As brilliant as he's been, we still need to remember. Throw schedules into all that and I'm sure Araujo is gonna get alot of chances. With Flick, one thing is just the case. He gives no one guarantees so u can stay competitive and prove your placein the team. I believe that's gonna be the case with Araujo too. Proving himself
Here is the thing, I like Inigo he’s done great filling in but many times this season we’ve been reminded of why we NEED Araujo back, Inigo is 33, not old but not young either, similarly Inigo isn’t fast and at times he gets beat with pace same with Chbarsi Araujo is a physical machine who has that pace and strength we need to allow Cubarsi to push up more if needed and not feel exposed
I hope Flick talks with him and is clear about what we need from him, we don’t need him to make huge sprints and last minute tackles for the majority of games he just had to be in sync with the test of the teams pressing and movement he can’t be stubborn
We will need araujo, inigo is doing good “currently” he aint a long term signing he was signed as a backup yes he is in form this season but we will need araujo anyhow
You can’t compare defenders rotation to gk. Araujo comes after an injury he will get his minutes, but slowly. Flick will probably sub him for the last 30mins of the game, so he will be engaged and could accustom to the new system. You can’t do that with a goalie
Sell Christensen, Ferran and play more pablo torre as a 8 to give him more confidence and give pedri some more rest. Get a an amazing one on one creative winger who can create and score like nico or leao. Arajo is great one on one defender will be amazing when we play against a more evolved mbappe and vini. Cubarasi is playing exceptionally well and inigo has been a great mentor to him, he but also needs to take a breather take slow steps to evolve (work on his header game and become a goal threat in set pieces with inigo). Casado and cubarasi have taken up a lot of creative responsibility. We also need to manage injuries better do we need more squad rotation. I think the Sociedad game was crucial for flick to take step back and get creative with the line ups.
Idk why theres so much talk about araujo and his approaching integration into this team when in past season hes almost always been our first choice CB, i think he could struggle a bit, but hes been out for a while we can only wait and see how flick works with him
Re: Inaki Pena, we forget that Flick watches the players in training, which probably is a lot of input from which to make these decisions. Probably he saw that Pena was killing it. It's probably why Fati doesn't get much time. It's really about how Araujo does with Flick's system in training. I think he is really great at the high line offside trap, but really, the proof is in the pudding...
Lets be real even if he was to play like that ucl game he'd still play regularly cause he still passes dominguez by far plus they were just a few dumbass mistakes and man is still class and he is still probably our fastest defend after balde if you put him into the mix
I think cubarsi should recover of his injury and flick should give time to aurajo and let's see if he performs well If he performans well, then the formation could change hard The best position would be: 4-2-2-2 Then Pau victor could get more time too So for me it's a good thing that araujo is playing after the international break ❤
I wouldn’t have araujo play regularly either. Let him ease into it. Gavi is doing that. He’s going to be an everyday player eventually but don’t break something that is not broken for now
i won’t let injuries or 1 mistake change my mind on him araujo is the best cb in the world and our captain and when he returns under flick we’re gonna reach a new level also let’s not forget araujo is only 25 years old i know compared to cubarsi or yamal it’s not considered young😭 but he is our future still.
There is not question to me about Araujo's importance to the team, when we face players Haaland or even Vini/Mbappé on a good form, few CBs like Araujo can stop them, his speed, reactivity on the dribbles and physicality are such critical points our defense lacks, we're just putting everything on the off-side trap, if we start facing more counter-pressing teams like Sociedad yesterday, we won't do much without a player of Araujo's caliber in the defense.
Highly doubt they all eat together EVERY day so a lunch orchestrated by him must really be to build a bond after being injured that long. Let’s not look for excuses to target Araujo for personal Agenda & Content Crave. We need him to come back + He’s still young with potential to learn our New Offside way of play.
Araujo is the contingency plan for when the high line fails because when it does neither Inigo nor Cubarsi have the speed or athleticism to catch up to pacy strikers
This isn't even a topic or debate to be had. Inigo is doing well atm but he isn't going to be there for very long, meaning his age. Araujo may not come in right away for obvious reasons. No injured player would just walk back into a team immediately unless the coach is desperate. That back lines future is Balde Cubarsi Araujo and Kounde.
the inigo hype needs to calm down. Araujo is easily better than him and when he is fit he is top 4 in the starting eleven. Like, are you kidding me? how could anyone doubt him, after hes been fantastic anytime hes been on the pitch
Leporta will not sacrifice future for one or 2 seasons. Martinez will not be at barca for long. Even he himself know that and he will be willing to remain back up. So arajuo will start after his return after he get 100 fit
We need Araujo. I dont believe that Inigo and Pau will be able to keep the focus and fitness for the entire season. We need depth that can compete for starting spot
You left out his renewal as an issue. Araujo has not agreed to renew, and hasn’t even responded to the offer. If he looks like he will run out his contract and leave for free, he will ride the bench.
Fermin has been useless for the past few matches, he doesn't attempt to press after losing the ball, he just whines on the pitch ... At this rate he will join ferran's level of hate
doubting araujo is crazy.he is 10x better then inigo.araujo in a high line he has the pace to even recover.inigo and cubarsi aint that fast.cubarsi and aruajo that wud be my perfect defenders

Injured araujo is still better then Martínez!!!!! And cubarsi still lacks and needs more experience he commits some very imprudente fouls! We need defenders that actually defend balde just isn't very good we can trade for grimaldo or frimpong.. we get scored on every game we need CLEAN SHEETS and either 2 of these balde Martínez or kounde need to be replaced id give cubarsi more opportunities since he's so young, but araujo is better then Martínez way better.. our defense lacks defense lol and is imbalanced due to the players that just don't correlate Martínez doesn't correlate well with balde nore kounde with cubarsi because kounde isn't a natural fullback while like I mentioned cubarsi need more experience and that help from Martínez but then what help does Martínez get if balde just gives up and doesn't follow his runs or tracks back makes the whole defense look bad all, because they don't correlate correctly!!!

@@jerrymcallister that can be worked on.
Between Inigo and Cubrasi , there is a perfect balance between their styles. Aurajo at times plays like a LWB at CB....
I hope he comes back rreally strong
Araujo will fit in perfectly and he will be a starter by the beginning of the year and thrive.
It’s clear that we lack that center back with Araujo’s profile. We lack a bit of speed and physicality in the back line. Now what’s interesting is to see how it’s going to play out between Iñigo and Cubarsí. But as far as Araujo, he’s good for sure.
Inigo is 33, Arujo is the future he isn't going anywhere. Almost everyone improved under Flickinator so will Arujo
Jonathan Tah

@@emmanuelowusu-ansah2625 I think will join , lets see because there is no any other free player honestly

@@Its_Your_bhai-You're joking right 😂
Inigo is older and Araujo could obviously improve just like Inigo and Kounde did.
Fdj is a big game player he brings calmness which is crucial in physical and fast matches
Against Sociedad Peña was pretty good, came off his line well ans made big saves to keep it at 1-0
Swithching Araujo with Inigo is not at all a bad idea considering the high line and his ball recovery .He may not be as good of a ball player as inigo has been this season but the decrease in the recovery runs that cubarsi will have to do can make up for it.I think arujo and cubarsi will be my starting pair
Naw, Inigo and Araujo all the way
Whooaa there, cowboy !
While I do see your point, you can't put Araujo and Szczesny on the same level. Their situations are totally different.
Szeczesny is old, he's an outsider, unfamiliar with the club, doesn't have any bearing on the other players.
Araujo is young, in his prime, he's familiar with the club, he's a leader and captain.
There's no chance they will be treated in the same way.
Robby Lou I really like your video it inspires me and like you I’ve been a Barca fan since 2023
Yes him and Christesen is fit, but they have conflict going on with Barca board regarding contract extention and salary. That's why
Lewa and gundugan said they did it too last year to bring players together more and bc xavi was about to get sacked so they might still be doing that to keep teammates close and bonding together

@@kcfues62Pedri also had a bad injury history and so far he hasn’t missed a single match. Olmo also has a very bad injury history yet every fan still loves him.
@@yo_seb5195 Good point:-) In any case, it's impossible to know who will be injured/for how long in the future. We had been VERY lucky with Lamine until now.
No we need to talk about the trainwreck of a match yesterday
No, we don't. There were more 7 YT Barca channels plus ESPN plus many other channels already. Countless negative comments have been made and "supporters" who previously said Hansi Flick was the best thing that happened to Barcelona were quick to demolish him and the team they claimed they support. Sh*t happens to any team in a season, even more than once. It doesn't mean anything, it doesn't subtract anything from the extraordinary achievements we already had this season. Sh*t happens, life goes on. Don't dwell on one negative.
@@edy3569 Yeah it just wasn't Barca's day. I'm sure Hansi and the players will learn from this and move on.
Inigo is 33. Os i dont think there needs to be an argument over whether we still need Araujo or not.
Inaiki earned his spot, he has been brilliant not just GOOD , miles better than the main goalie
"inigo and cubarsi have been perfect so far" ok but one is 17 and the other is 33, how much more are they going to play without being rested? not to mention that if the offside trap fails somehow, araujo is the type of player that you want to track back and save the day
and i dont really get the correlation to wojtek, the two situations are so so different
From some reason you avoid the fact that Roland is very weak on the ball. ⚽️ He doesn’t have the technique to be in a high defensive line because he don’t know how to move the ball forward. He is offensive liability It’s a problem 😢other than that 😊he is the best in the world. 🌎 🎉
He's actually not that bad. He MASSIVELY improved on the ball. Under Xavi, he put a lot of accurate long balls from the back. Not as good as Inigo tho
If our team it’s exposed because our high line . Araujo is much more needed .
In socidad game araujo will cover much more space and maul the forwards in front of him .
The starting 11 has to be tired with the style of play under Flick so we really need the squad depth which isn't available right now
Itis not a problem,.
Hear me out. Inigo and Araujo as our cb pairing and Cubarsi at dm🤷🏻♂️
I don't think Araujo is smart when it comes to offside trap anyway let's see how he will do i hope he proves me wrong
You can’t compare defenders rotation to gk. Araujo comes after an injury he will get his minutes, but slowly. Flick will probably sub him for the last 30mins of the game, so he will be engaged and could accustom to the new system. You can’t do that with a goalie
I was watching the video… voice sounded familiar. 😮Didn’t realize it was you! Automatically followed cuh
All i know is when Araujo returns he'll be the best defender in the world
Sell Christensen, Ferran and play more pablo torre as a 8 to give him more confidence and give pedri some more rest.
I think cubarsi should recover of his injury and flick should give time to aurajo and let's see if he performs well
If he performans well, then the formation could change hard
The best position would be: 4-2-2-2
Then Pau victor could get more time too
So for me it's a good thing that araujo is playing after the international break ❤
I wouldn’t have araujo play regularly either. Let him ease into it. Gavi is doing that. He’s going to be an everyday player eventually but don’t break something that is not broken for now
the way you say Araujo is kinda funny, VISCA BARCA 💙❤️
i won’t let injuries or 1 mistake change my mind on him araujo is the best cb in the world and our captain and when he returns under flick we’re gonna reach a new level also let’s not forget araujo is only 25 years old i know compared to cubarsi or yamal it’s not considered young😭 but he is our future still.
Araujo should learn how to play with his mind not his power that's why he always get injured
In any case, there is no way that he would accept anything less than a guaranteed starting role every week IF (when...?) he is not injured.
Shoutout to Robby for pronouncing the ú in Araújo correctly every dang time
we need to talk about frenkie
Araujo is the contingency plan for when the high line fails because when it does neither Inigo nor Cubarsi have the speed or athleticism to catch up to pacy strikers
This isn't even a topic or debate to be had. Inigo is doing well atm but he isn't going to be there for very long, meaning his age. Araujo may not come in right away for obvious reasons. No injured player would just walk back into a team immediately unless the coach is desperate. That back lines future is Balde Cubarsi Araujo and Kounde.
All this talking for Araujo to walk back into the starting XI.. Come back stronger mi captain 💙❤️
He is our captain and still very young. And we will soon be moving on from Inigo.
the inigo hype needs to calm down. Araujo is easily better than him and when he is fit he is top 4 in the starting eleven.
Like, are you kidding me? how could anyone doubt him, after hes been fantastic anytime hes been on the pitch
We need a backup winger and next striker after Lewa
I don't want him to leave at all
Defensive intelligence over athleticism always
The only aruajo needs to improve is his ball-playing ability. Cause against psg last szn the were pressing him nd he ultimately cost us the game
Leporta will not sacrifice future for one or 2 seasons. Martinez will not be at barca for long. Even he himself know that and he will be willing to remain back up. So arajuo will start after his return after he get 100 fit
I would like to see Inigo at left back.
Inigo Cubarsi Araujo Kounde
Love your videos ❤ Unrelated, where do you get your jerseys?
But it looks like inigo is more mature than araújo. Since the beginning he never made mistake
Araujo is a better centre back than Inigo. The question is can he play a high line and pass the ball around like Inigo?
I don’t want Araujo to leave but if he’s gonna be a bench player he should go to another club and be the main CB
We need a LW and ST asap
I think Deco was already looking into Gyokeres
@@IcySanZit's not realistic at all. Gyokeres is now wanted by a lot of big clubs. I don't think barca can give him a better offer than those clubs.
tbh we need a full back too cause after balde kounde and fort theres no one else other than that marcus alonso regen
@aaaaaaaaaa4459 The only way they get him if it's been a dream for him to play at Barca
Barca should break bank by buying gyokeres
unlike de jong, araujo is very important and passionate about the club
araujo will bench both cubarsi AND inigo, will need only 2 games
1 center back formation
Very soon we'd have that conversation about FDJ
🔥 video
Fermin has been useless for the past few matches, he doesn't attempt to press after losing the ball, he just whines on the pitch ... At this rate he will join ferran's level of hate
Araujo walks straight in the XI after 2/3 games
Naaah!
Flick has alright disturbed this team’s rhythm with De Jong
Why do English speakers feel the necessity to emphasize the U in Araujo’s name 🤔
The tilde is not that strong. It's not "Ara-UUUUUUUUU-jo" its "araUjo", the U is just "louder". "are ow ho" is the englsihshifgivatrion of th word.
Bro, not all year... It's all season, this season for the most part.
doubting araujo is crazy.he is 10x better then inigo.araujo in a high line he has the pace to even recover.inigo and cubarsi aint that fast.cubarsi and aruajo that wud be my perfect defenders
He's good but he's still too reckless, his ball playing hasn't improved and hes injury prone. Barca may cash in on him
man what are you on about
inigo has shown none deffensive abilities that come even close to araujo
you are realy saying 3rd CB backup CB like cmon friend the dude is a fear to any attacker in the world.inigo has the experience and the mental side of the game thats all.
Lol i thought he was pronounced Arau-jo and not Ara-ujo. Apparently not

this video means nothing,If Araujo comes back more strong and if he can adapt to the Offside trap then this is the most useless video ever (no hate tho just told what i think and love your videos ;o)
Honestly he was the best cb in the world last season and because of 1 mistake vs psg people are switching up on him
Bro you look like frenkie 🙂🙂🙂
This video would have only been 10 mins if you didn't keep trying to say Araujo authenticly 😂
Gj pronouncing his name, bro
Have you seen Cubarsi last night? That's where. The kid is amazing, but 17, can't play every game.
Imagine aurujo at Madrid 😂
Arauuuuuho😂
Bro sell frankie
We can control with the pedri and casado too its just education bro he is not very elite to make team win.
Ajax triump was a fluke
can araujo play as cb and cubarsi and casado as double pivot
why would cubarsi go up???
