It is only your opinion. In Germany the most said after this game that it was the fault by Löw. And I think so too. Schweinsteiger was one of the worst player in this team. But he played. Löw played with 3 CMs and without a right midfielder. The pass of Montolivo came across the german right side! He had so much time. Apart of this Löw played with Gomez and Podolski instead of Klose and Reus. No one had understood that. And because I am german I know how the germans thought after losing this match.

this was actually a pretty limp italy on paper compared to previous years... the most stacked italy i ever seen was at 1994 WC...even the winning side of 2006 didnt have such big names like baggio, maldini, baresi, pagluica, signori, zola and the rest of the ac milan team which were top of the world at the time....costacurta, tassoti, donadoni, albertini, massaro...crazy stuff

Erstmal ich respektiere die italienische Mannschaft besonders Legende Buffon sehr. Ich habe mich nicht auf das Durchschnittsalter bezogen. Die deutschen Leistungsträger sind alle noch ziemlich jung und haben trotzdem schon jetzt mehr CL KO-Runden sowie Weltmeisterschaft und Euro spiele bestritten als der Großteil der aktuellen italienischen Nati. Kroos z.B. ist mit 26 sogar bereits 2 mal Championsleague Sieger.
