How can a person be pardoned for a crime that was never charged?
They want citizens to trust in, believe and follow the laws, they should do the same.
May have to move the civilian court or appeals to a dirt road or field. JS

Technically, the only way you can pardon someone is if you reviewed their case and sentencing and then reason that they were treated unfairly and then you pardon them!!!! You really can't pardon someone for a crime they haven't been convicted for and sentenced!!!! This is about as dull as calling Trump a convict before his sentencing!!!!

How can you pardon someone for something that they haven't been brought on charges for? I don't think that will stand up in the Supreme Court. You can only pardon someone who has been tried and convicted of something first. As far as I am aware, Liz Cheney hasn't had any indictments brought on her. Also I don't think that the President is even granted the power to preemptively pardon someone. It's never been done before, until Hunter was pardoned. I would expect that too to be ruled unconstitutional.
