Kind'a fun that the Barracuda you show at 3:52 in this video is the same casting as the Barracuda you showed at 13:17 in yesterday's video, when you said, "It has a plastic top because they also made a...topless version of this", and here it is in this video!

I have always loved auto world. I just picked up the AMC Marlin and the Ford Probe. Was very surprised and disappointed that they both came with plastic bases and plastic tires! I hope this isn't a new direction. If this is not standard, let me know, I paid top dollar for them.

No, it was standard packaging and series. The casting was very nice, but without the opening hood and metal base, they just really felt cheap. Even the tires would not have bothered me too much, but the overall was so disappointing

Those are from their deluxe line as opposed to the premium line. They have actually been doing “deluxe” cars since the beginning. I do wish that they would have just ditched that line and made everything premium.
