Dakota Dog Living The Life

It was a lovely fall evening in the Twin Cities so I took my girl out on a walk to the park before dinner and a puzzle, which in this case was how she had her dinner. My girl being my dog, Dakota. See more of her at / explorewithdakota
Boom Island in Northeast Minneapolis is a great spot to relax and check out the skyline over the river. Plenty of space to sit and easy to find shade under the trees on hotter days like we saw all summer. It also has the added bonus of being 10 minutes walk from my place if I take the most direct route.
As for Dakota, I've had her for about 18 months now after adopting her from Secondhand Hounds in Minneapolis just before the first lockdowns started. She's a handful but a wonderful dog!
