We went to a wedding this weekend and I used this palette for my soft glam look. I like your idea of putting the rose gold on the outside and using a brown eyeshadow as a liner. I am a smidge over 50 and feel it makes the softer look that I need. I have watched your friendly and easy to follow tutorials over the years which is why I had the confidence and skill to wear a soft glam look (I had very little makeup knowledge beforehand- grew up in the 80s when makeup was bad- lol). Hi! I have a question! I never know what to do on the lower lash line. It looks like you applied a little of that dark brown shadow, but what brush did you use/how did you apply it? Did you apply all the way across? I feel like a lot of makeup tutorials skip that step but then in the finished look it’s apparent they did something but I don’t know what.
So I always have a hard time with mascara, it always feels like there’s too much product on the brush, lashes get stuck together or worse clumps get stuck on them. I try shear extra product off the edge of tube but even this is too much, my best results were yesterday when I used a fiber cotton pad to try and wipe off excess from the brush as well, but it ended up leaving a lot of cotton fibers on the mascara brush and was messy to clean those fibers off, also didn’t come close to getting them off. It’s so frustrating:P
