A fake therapist for Jake is probably the most psychotic Amy moment and it was so malicious to the point of being out of character

I'd imagine a fake therapist would be a bit controversial!! :)

The baby debate is the worst episode of Brooklyn 99. Amy should have accepted Jake's feelings but instead invalidated them by making a debate about it. I get that she wants children but there are better ways to communicate that

The baby debate was such a horrible episode, i skip it every time. A lot of things wrong with that one, but what always stands out for me is Amy's line about "starting over", just eesh.

This show definitely jumped the shark in 2020, that season was tough to watch at points.

They tackled real contemporary issues and people weren't ready for that from the show with a gay cop since episode 1

I mean I feel like it always a little crazy but it definitely gets more outrageous as the show ran on

@@M.W.2 yeah such an edgy show...can u believe they were the FIRST one to tackle social issues, instead of star trek in the 80s lmao. Must be nice to be so ignorant of basic facsts

@@M.W.2 yes exactly they tackled issues instead of addressing them. Issues cannot be “tackled.” The show properly addressed issues of sexism, racism, and homophobia throughout its many seasons. Then in 2020 they decided, screw all of the positive work we’ve done, giving meaningful responses to societal problems. Instead, let’s just devote episodes to saying “racism bad” with no further explanation. That’s terrible and lazy writing, and on top of that it doesn’t even accomplish the goal of trying to effect change.
