Thanks for pointing out the difficulty of getting back to spheras from staff. It probably deserve its own section quite frankly since its one of her most glaring weakness in PvP. The proposed method that Blue recommended is slightly off. In fact, if you prioritize the Pet Summon swap, you need to make sure to have both summoning skills onto the hotbar and use the opposite pet as the one you currently have summoned. This way, it simply swaps the pets around instead of unsommoning the current one. If you mistakenly unsummon your pet in the middle of a 1v1, you're almost guaranteed to lose because you will have 6 seconds downtime at minimum without your intended damage, and 12 seconds without access to pet CC. The pet summon swap is the most protected one, but also the slowest. And comes with the penalty of not being able to use the Pet CC in 1v1. Detonative Flow swaps are risky as it was stated by Blue. However, they allow the Witch to cancel all her Staff skills with the exception of Healing Aura, Protected Area, Residual Lightning, Earthen Eruption (should have been able but, Pearl Abyss is too lazy to implement the skill adequateley for Awakening) Rabam skills 2 and 3. As a swap, this one is the smoothest and Detonative Flow can be cancelled with Flow: Magical Evasion (SA) at the expanse of the float if done too quickly or a Q block same problems but suffers from the block aftercast and potential hit block staggers. Of course there is the W + C swap as stated by Blue. Inconvinient because you need to have finished your staff skill completely and you cannot queue the input in advance or it will for a unprotected slow swap (a worst mistake than a double jump of shame). Finally, A/D + C swap is the fastest you can do, but has the problem of not being able to cancel staff skills. But, I have seen players able to do that swap at extreme speed, making it almost seemless after a Protected Area or Heal or Rabam Swiftquake even in large scale. It might be good to practice. Awakening Wizard does not have this issue because they have Hellfire frontal guard on the default allowing the same chains from Staff as Detonative Flow does. But don't get me started on Awakening Wizard. >.

With Mind x4 Lightstones in capped large scale, you've unlocked the big secret to be tanky. You could also slap the 20% Downsmash addons in, but, downsmash = pseudo aerial phase = no down attack damage (nor air attack damage). It results in a ~46,14% chance to downsmash. Only issue being that Awakening Witch can't capitalize on the downsmash due to the lenghty aftercast of Barrage of Lightning, and the down attack damage loss doesn't justify it.
This is a great guide.... for PvP. I really appreciate the time put into the video, and it is very informative, but PvE is barely mentioned at all. I don't think he mentioned it even once in the combos section. I'll be 100% honest, I didn't watch the entire video (just the awak skill overview, PvE addons, and Combos), but at no point in those three segments does he explain how PvE plays or which skills to combo. He does mention that a certain skill is good in PvE in the skills overview, but that means nothing if you don't know which ones you should be using. Great guide, but I feel like I wasted like a half hour listening to him describe why a skill is good in PvP (and I can't skip because he doesn't have a section purely for PvE, so he could mention it in the next sentence)
Absolute: Dagger Stab does say "Only available via a Quick Slot after learning Earthen Eruption or Rain of Fire". Seems this is PA's intentional workaround for an unimportant skill, rather than completely forgotten.
Thats the same for the rest of the classes, when they released the magnus skills, they replaced the assigned key of old insignificant skills, although for a couple of classes the "old" one still useful you just gootta hotkey it

I am also an awk witch main the game feels bad now but i always have shit tagged for pvp. i don't like when my old man hands that cause me arthritis from playing a game even if i out gear most players at 740 to win a 1v1 with my awk witch (if they suck).. So its funny to see how eccentric you get at times with these kinds of vids you make on the Class.
Are more guides for other classes planned in the future? Love the detail about this. It's so hard finding good guides on youtube that arent a few years old. Would love to see a kunoichi guide. Especially PVE because most content on YT is focussed on PVP. Keep up the amazing content !

As an Awakened Witch main, this was a comprehensive and much-appreciated guide. I may have to watch it a few times, lol. How would you improve the Witch so trash loot is comparable to other classes? Should Teleport cooldown be reduced to 3 seconds? Should SA be added to Detonative Flow for surviving the swap between main to awaken stance? I think her PvE is currently in a good spot speed wise at the mid-high end grind zones. I think she needs split tp and a way to get to awakening in a reasonable manner.
What about weapons? now there is supposed to be a free tet BS for completing the season. Which weapon should you choose as awa Witch? The awa weapon is probably more important than the main one?
Awakening witch is terrible don't play it, its rarely useful. Wizard is better in most ways and she needs to be reworked entirely. She dies every fight especially in 1v1 ive played her since launch.

Good shit that I constantly used Spellbound Heart to get the move speed buff while grinding and now realize its the same as my pet's passive
