സത്യത്തിൽ ക്രിസതുമതം എന്ന പ്രയോഗം തെറ്റാണ്. ക്രിസ്തു ഒരു മതവും സ്ഥാപിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ആർക്കും വ്യക്തിപരമായിപ്പോലും യേശുവിനെ വിശ്വസിച്ച് ആരാധിക്കാനുള്ള സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ഉണ്ട്. പക്ഷേ, പിന്നീട് അവർ മതം എന്ന ഒരു സംവിധാനത്തിന്റെ ഉള്ളിലായിപ്പോകുന്നുണ്ട് എന്നത് ശരിയാണ്. അത് മനുഷ്യരായ നമ്മൾ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച സാമൂഹ്യ സംവിധാനത്തിന്റെ പ്രത്യേകതയാണ്. അല്ലാതെ യേശുവിന്റെ കുഴപ്പമല്ല.
