I am quite new to all this. I only knew the comedy circuit through Bill Hicks and George Carlin mostly. But i am glad that it looked into it more and discover you guys. I love Marc's natural character letting itself out through comedy. It is a really enjoyable interview. Thanks.

I love how naturally this conversation just flows 😌 It's such a cool insight to have on the experiences that nobody else knows as well from such a cool time period. Touching in the earlier to the more recent stuff, just all intertwined. Definitely the interview(podcast episode) that initially caught my attention more than just mere curiously hearing along. (TH-cam has been shuffling and replaying these episodes for me and I am all on board for it ❤)

David seems so happy and it warms my heart. I've always had empathy as he seems so intelligent that it takes work to 'play along' like this.
The beginning of this reminded me of David Steinberg's "psychiatrist office" sketch (you can find it on TH-cam), in which he would tell the incoming patient that he could sit anywhere he wanted to, and then look at him with disdain and say "unh, unh unh" when he chose certain chairs, BOOGA BOOGA!!
SO GOOD!! Just a real conversation. I guess I'm not getting enough of that in this world. Thank you!

Great talk!! I’ve always been a fan of Mr. Show, and David’s specials! Same for Marc! Then when Marc started WTF, I really was interested in the stories of Marc, his friends, his peers, and his enemies. 😂. Great to hear the stories. They both seemed to enjoy it. Listening to Mark all these years I know he has always liked David a lot, treasured their history, and respected his comedy!! 😂❤️😂❤️😂❤️

i quit paying for netflix, because they suck. and if they are turning down David Cross or both David and Bob that's all the more reason to stay away from netflix.
But they greenlit a film classic like 19:34 Cuties and the new Toe Hogan special! They got their finger on the pulse baby!
technically I didn't quit, but just that the card I was using for the payment happened to naturally expire like almost a year ago, and I've yet to ever feel compelled to bother updating the account

I wanted to watch Night Court so I searched "Night Court" and amongst all the Night Court clips... David Cross' podcast, over and over. There is pride in that.

I first found David Cross via a cassette tape of his stand-up at some college in the late 90's.
He's the only comic that makes me NOT eat when listening. Fucking funny.. not for the stupid..

The closer to this podcast made me laugh the hardest and it clearly wasn’t planned. It clearly didn’t have a closer planned
I feel like the long periods of deep introspection where no one moved on camera portrayed more depth. But this was also good!
They fixed it. I am disappointed. It was funnier with the introspection. I would have left it for the joke.
They should both sit on the loveseat and rename the show ‘uncomfortably close.’

While David mentioned he hadn't been real into Podcasts, I really hope this sticks around. The only other podcast I can remember enjoying this much was Norm Macdonald Live and that sadly only stuck around for 3 seasons (not counting the Netflix seasons).
