I totally understand. My mother died due to loosing my brother. Ppl don’t think about your pain nor your journey. When we were born the first we bonded to and knew all our lives was mom, mommy, mother. So when ppl talk out of their own self, remember they won’t trade places with us who lost their parents, in facts let’s not think of those who can’t understand. God has you he knows you and will fill that void if you go to him and let him. 👏🏽

The life I want and deserve!!! Been so depressed lately and watching this made me feel better. Reminding myself daily that I deserve nice things and that I deserve to be alive is something that is big.

After much prayer and much prayer and much prayer, my house goes on the market Monday. God has blessed me to raise my 3- children as a single mom and they are all doing well. This is me obeying a delayed Word from The Lord, and truly walking by faith. 6-8 weeks I’m there! Ok, let me watch the video. 😊

Glad to see your back after everything you have been through. I truly appreciate what you said in regards to the reason why you don't post your Mom. I lost my Mom almost 5 years ago. It is very hard to see others post their Mom on Mother's Day. I usually avoid social media on that day and a few days after. Thank you for thinking of others during that time.

It was so cool that you like scary movies. Other than my best friend and I, I don't know any other Christian women who likes them so that was really good to see.
I can respect your reasons for keeping your family and private life private. I lost both my mom almost three years ago and my dad 10 years ago from dementia. When I first lost them or was honestly hard to see others with their parents but as the Lord healed me I am now able to celebrate with others during times they celebrate their parents but I had to truly pray hard about that and He got me here.
Thanks for sharing your journey with us. You're an inspiration and great role model for young ladies.

Marrissa I LOVE your reasoning and like others have said, you are well beyond your years in reasoning. Like you I don't post every single thing because I too grew up in an era where there was no social media and the things you did in life was kept private or among those that truly knew you. I'm amazed that there is someone that I can genuinely relate to and know that they do have boundaries with what they post. Lastly, I don't see the point and feel some sort of way about holidays as well. Not because I lost anyone to them but because why does a calendar date need to tell me to do something nice for my mom, dad, etc. Why am i obligated to buy things for people on Christmas? If I truly love them I should give them a gift when I feel like it not because a calendar told me to. Great reasoning and I love your channel!

I felt this sooo deeply! My New Year began with 5 family members all on my dad’s side and two that were my grandmother and uncle passing away! I have never experienced that much lose. On top of all of that a person that was valuable to me suddenly removed me from there life. I am not the same. Glad you are feeling better!🫶🏽

I completely agree with you on the Social Media part. I believe people post to seek praise, approval, or connect (or advertise/influence). I've strayed away because I've become disinterested in posting for "what reason" and then having to repetitively respond. Also, I can't stand ghost followers, because people post for others reactions (if you didn't you'd be talking to yourself) and when people bypass it, or several post, then it's like why bother following/ignoring people? All I know is that it's good to take breaks because social media "reality" can be a drag.

I’m glad you expounded upon your reason for not posting your family and precious moments because I’m quite the opposite.
I served 24 years in the military and because of the type of career field I was in I couldn’t share triumphs , professional and personal milestones or speak my truth on a lot of topics. However, once I retired I felt a peace in doing so…and I love when the year comes around and brings those memories back around (FB).
I have family but unfortunately we are not close as I hoped for so sharing with my close friends, business partners and associates who pour into and pray for me regularly is definitely liberating for me. You never know how your personal triumphs, tragedies, and life experiences impact someone in a positive manner.
Where would we be in 2023 without these platforms? Building Relationships are paramount ..especially in business..I love letting my clients know I’m human and have a life outside of helping them with their sexual health and intimate relationships.

I remember years ago, back in college when social media was “such a big deal” I would always ask my bf, now husband, “why don’t you post pics of us?” Just out of curiosity and he would be genuinely confused as to why I would even ask that. Great to know you are okay and pushing through. Tragedy has struck me back to back these past couple years and one of the only ways I made it through was God and His path that He took me on with my educational background in Clinical Mental Health. I wouldn’t have the coping skills other wise.
