Aerial Silks above water - Milena Oksanen

Aerial Silks above water is a wonderful collaboration between aerialist & circus artist Milena Oksanen and Videographer and video producer Cristian Hallivuori.
I always wanted to do aerials above water and this summer I got to realize that dream and capture it with the most amazing videographer, Cristian.
This location was so beautiful and the whole process felt like a dream. After such a hard year (or more then a year actually) of almost no performing this also kind of felt like a performance, people were cheering me from the land and others I think might have even called the cops :D but it really was a good experience all in all and it reminded me why we are still going on, giving our best, being creative and finding new ways of creating arts, even when the world is full of restrictions and it sometimes feels pointless. Hope you'll enjoy watching this as much as I enjoyed the process :)

Thanks, it is relatively safe compared to regular performing, where there's no safety mats and so on. Here, since it's above water, so it would probably be less fatall in case of a fall.
But said that, I have been professionally trained for this in worlds best circus schools. I wouldn't encourage anyone to try this unless they were professionally trained aerialists, and used to performing aerials with various conditions! 😊
