      You mentioned 'sad reality ' but this type of approach is making the young people lazy and depend on govt doles., which is exploited by politicians, like in Karnataka, TN Telangana.

    My father retired as a cop. Why is this traffic sub-inspector not wearing his name tag? That is a basic requirement of the uniform.

    This happened to me when a cop claimed he measured my car speed on a sony cybershot, I immediately asked him to sieze my license and my car and file the fine in court, he just asked me to go. These cops think people are fools, who they can squeeze money out of.

    These sorts of traffic policemen add to the stress of common men like us while driving. These people always hide around the corners trying to get free money from the vulnerable crowd. My bike's mirror from oneside broke in the DND highway. I literally had the broken mirror on my tank of the bike and was asked to pay fine. I asked the cop what more could I have done? They never try to help the public. They rarely stand in areas where traffic is unregulated and there's a need for a traffic policeman. Its always under a tree or in a corner where there's no need for any regulation
