Wow... Someone hate hipsters... and knobs... and fondling. What's that gotta do with her making the most she can to make the transitions sound good, smooth 'n' nice. I learned to fondle the knobs back in 1985 when I first started on vinyl, so please tell what's not good about it. I've fondled my knobs for 30+ years... you say I've been doing this the wrong way all this time? Then I really have to have a serious talk with the guys I learned from back in the 80's...setting me up the wrong way for so long...damned!
huh? I don't know very many DJs who don't fiddle with the knobs...I would say that it's completely human impulse and to NOT fiddle with the knobs is....well...just weird. HAH.
...with so many fake "DJs" out there this is completely refreshing....killer set!

Молодец девчонка! Чувствуется любовь к техно-музыке, ее саму она заводит, хоть это и не женская музыка. Ну конечно видна отличная техника игры на виниле. Небольшие помарки в виде начинающегося рассинхрона она убирает быстро, они не портят ощущение от сета. Респектую в общем.

still one can tell that she's more used to playing digital in terms of beatmatching.
plus - i wonder why one needs to fiddle around with FX buttons when actually no FX are active. at various occasions she's touching the dry/wet knobs below the bass EQ with absolutely no purpose as they're assigned to the six effect buttons to the left which are not blinking at that point, so no effect is on. also fiddling around with the effect section on the down right corner doesn't make much sense when no effect is assigned - once again the light in the down right is oftentimes not blinking when she does that or the FX level is set to minimum a.k.a. zero which is indicated by the position of the second knob from the button of the down right corner. just wondering if that is just for show then.
anyway, i totally appreciate the way she's using the line faders for fast cuts and that, a technique i also do like to use for a reason although my other mixing style is going into a different direction than hers.
The color effects are assigned to the master by the looks of things.
Some of us twiddle when no twiddling is needed as it's a force of habit.

Jordan Grant colour effects are in each channel. And i agree with the first comment. Vinyl is always nice but this set its nothing impressive.

I don't understand why @DJsounds can not just supply the track list with the set when they upload rather than having us guess at what the tracks are. They have the DJ right in front of them to tell them!!
Lots of competition & ones tunes and how they are played are what separates and differentiates good from bad DJ's. There's obviously more to it but yea, tunes can be rather sacred.

Been a second since I listened to a vinyl set. Even with TH-cams crappy compression codec to get big files to fit in small spaces u can hear the warmth and depth of the vinyl.. imagine how this would sound live and thru a mixer that doesn’t have to run thru AD converters, then getting summed in the digital domain then thru a DA (digital to analog converter)

there was no beat, it was probably in a break/synth line

it was a workshop. in the middle of the day... not an party, that's why they are there for ;)
I know but that is the same like in Clubs or open air. The Dj or live act is watching into a wall of Smartphones. WHY????? I see a person who is filming an 2 hour Konzert. Why he spend his money not into the live DVD for this act. Better quality and better sound. Sorry maybe i´m too old. ;-)
Simple. its ADE - this was in the middle of the day - most of them are part of the group from pioneer and theyre shooting PR photos.
the other ones are raving like hell in the background.
There is still a culture who raves & dance - but i also appreciate it when i take an video from a rave just to have something i can look back
yeah i know what u mean, i guess people feel good and whant to chapture that moment of a good feeling, that's why they record it :))) but yeah i do not tend to record aswell as is pointless(unlless i want to know the id ;) better enjoy the moment ;)
