I bought this back in the day as a triple cd in Sydney Australia, but it was stolen and haven't been the same since....till now...many thanx for the upload...U saved me..
Loved the Retrospective of House volumes; what a time to be a young man in London it was. Graham Gold - thanks brother for making those times and thanks for posting this!
Graham gold played one of the best sets in '99 at Maidstone's Ikon during the summer holidays on A level results day , what a top night I will never forget ...
@@GRAHAMGOLD you're most welcome , those were arguably the best times for dance / trance and listening to you and other top select dj's playing on kiss 100 fm on Friday/ Saturday nights were my warm up to a great night out or few 😉😉
@@benhook Thank you again, the hope to see you at a Peach reunion..Sat Aug 14th at The steelyard or the 28th birthday with Club UK at Electric Brixton on Fri Oct 1st!
1994,(the year that Blast-Crazy Man was released) was also the year I started DJing at school parties, I will dig this classic track out of my vinyl collection, dust it down, and spin this classic dance track in a DJ club set , whilst at the same time also showing up the DJs who spin Little Mix, Cheryl Cole etc.
Mr Gold...your mixing and sessions are a big factor why i brought a pair of decks and aged 43 now still love the music and attempting to mix be it rubbish at times, but who cares i love the passion of the music....keep it up my good man
I was once on a works do in Bristol. We were out round the city in the evening and I said I've had enough I'm off to hotel/bed. I went straight to Lakota, stayed all night (never visted the club before as lived in London) and walked into hotel at about 7am to see all my colleagues around for breakfast. They said where have you been, just for an early morning stroll I said, get some fresh air. I don't think anyone believed me but it was a great night at Lakota and years ago, so who cares? I skipped breakfast 😀
@@SuperVirgilhilts yes Lakota was /is known as the super club of the south west country! (I had full membership and often travelled to the club , with crew ,which included my very good mates, residential djs at the Brunel rooms in Swindon!

Great mix Graham, top times! I hope you may have forgotten the small bit of tomfoolery when I temporarily trapped you in the gents at The Victory, Pinner and took over on the decks. Jason Ramage came over and let you out and back in charge. We're still best mates to this day. He sends his regards. Funnily enough that was on a Wednesday (we had big name DJ's on midweek when you were a bit less expensive than weekends 😀) and on the Saturday me & pals were walking down the steps to The Gardening Club to go in. You were just walking up with your box of vinyl after finishing your set and spotted me and said "oh no, not f@cking you again" laughing though. Just co-incidence we didn't know who was playing that night. One of the tamer stories from back in the day.
