Interesting - I have a Boya M1 lav and I have been impressed by its quality. They seem to be making some good value stuff. But you’re so early on the review that you can’t buy it anywhere yet. Ha!! I’ll have to look at it when it’s available.
Ha, I got sent one in advance of release. I think you can get it via the website in the description and some sellers in the US 👍🏻 Impressed with the Boya audio gear too!
Hello friend, can you make a step-by-step video on how to install its driver on the PC, because I bought this interface and I can't install it on the PC and configure it, there is no Support ok Make a video configuring it: I wouldn't buy it more complicated at 7 I've had it for months and it doesn't work:... thanks🙏🎼🎵🎶🎸stingmello...
A lot of that was to do with my fan issues. I think the key to take from this review is you will never need to push the gain on this interface that far, I barely had to introduce gain to the signal to get a decent audio level 👍🏻
@@neilcollinsrecording thanks for your reply. sadly the specs say 75db (average nowadays is >100dB), and the input noise (EIN) can't be found anywhere in their specs - for obvious reasons...
@@olafkliemt1145 all good information for the people reading the thread. I don’t tend to get to bogged down with specs etc but I do agree they are important. Real world tests are the only real tests and this unit is aimed at podcasts etc. For this use and with the gain not having to be pushed hardly at all there is little noise introduced before you get a decent audio signal 👍🏻
Correct me if I am wrong but I think it is not good to plug-in condenser mic and dynamic mic together in input 1 and input 2 if the phantom power is on to supply power for the condenser mic?

Hello I’ve got boya am1 and boya m1000 mic When I’m recording Suddenly the mic stops recording on the program. At first, I thought it was from the application, but when I tried on other programs, the same problem occurred, although during the recording I heard myself clearly and without problems. What is the reason in your opinion?
Hello! I am planning to buy this one, is the build quality good? I mean is it made up of metal? or is it not completely made up of metal? like hard plastic and metal combination only?...... Any update if this can really record for up to 24 bit? I cannot find this on the internet but think there will be some information on your recording software/DAW when you will try to set this up in the hardware preferences. By the way, nice video!
Hello. I bought this microphone + sound card (Boya M1000 mic + Boya AM1 Soundcard) and connected it to MacBook Air 2020. When recording sound or video from the screen, my sound cuts out at different times. What do you think is the reason? Is it not due to the power pressure to the system? Can a 48V power supply be connected to this sound card? ُThank you.
you could plug the usb end to a 48v psu and get live audio by connecting the monitor jacks in the back, but the main reason your audio cuts out is because of power shortage from the macbook, one way to bypass that would be to either put your macook on performance mode(i am not well informed about macbooks so i apologize if i am wrong) the other way would be to use a usb splitter and get power externally and plug the other end to your macbook
@@paulowallacebpm yes, you can record two sources of audio at the same time. On this video both mics are plugged in and recording via the interface at the same time 👍🏻
Let me know if you enjoyed the video and any feedback on noisy fans would be much appreciated! COMMENT BELOW

great video - thanks ! but a signal to noise ratio of 75dB is the worst and noisiest i have ever seen. by far. for this money you get better ones...

You are right. When phantom power in on the signal from dynamic mic will be distorted.
have you consider trying to connect a Shure Mic SM7B to BOYA BY-AM1 sir?
I haven't got an SM7B unfortunately

Does it record stereo channel only with one mic
is it possible to make two tracks? between guitar and vocals?
Yes, this is a two track interface so you can record both at the same time

That sounds odd, could be that your computer isn't keeping up with the recording?
@@neilcollinsrecording The problem was with the audio settings thank you ❤️
not really familiar with these things... is this USB powered? so does it have to always be plugged in to USB to work?
can this mic be used as dac too?
Can it go to 24-bit recording while on 192khz?
Does it have its own downloadable audio driver?
Not sure tbh, I just plugged it in and it worked with my Mac
if the inputs are separate does that mean i can record in stereo?
You can plug a left mic and a right mic in as a L / R 👍🏻
