- We took in a bunch of Kenworth T680's on trade! Looking over the trucks the guys decided we should take a hand full of them and just kinda give the trucks a new look, so that's what we did!!

Used to be a owner operator driving 48 states but have not drove a truck in about 25 years. Love watching your channel, you guys are putting out some awesome looking trucks. Love the Peterbilts.

I think the pete 386 and KW t660 were some of the better looking aero trucks. But you get a 680 with the stacks behind the doors it's right up there.

Exactly. I said the same thing as soon I saw the length of the truck.
No APU means very high idle hrs. not good for any diesel engine and wears them out fast. Oh and junk pacar engines.
Good looking truck only eyesore is the weed burning exhaust.

Just looking at it, I would have never guessed this truck was used! We have three of these T680’s at work, got to drive one for a day and really liked how it rode/drove.
That 579 with some stacks and a visor and I'll take it

motor swap and def delete would sell that quicker and make it better. basically make a cheaper glider. great looking trucks and it looks like an awesome deal.

On the flat top sleeper peterbilt 579 you put on a light kit, bigger fuel tanks, aftermarket steering wheel as well.

That 579 needs duel stacks. I occasionally drove one when my 389 "big blue" was in the shop. It was killer with the stacks.

Looks great until you see the grassburner. A little header paint would finish it off nicely.

Fleets really aren't keeping trucks that long anymore. I remember when most fleets dumped trucks at right under a million miles, then they started dumping them at 750k now most fleets dump them with under 500k on them.
Fleets are trading before the warranty runs out.
Good looking truck and then all of a sudden what jumps out...an old grass burner pipe. I got some silver exhaust paint in my garage if you need.
Put some front stacks on them that way they look way better
I think one of those Kdubs would look good with like an emerald green color and a black stripe to separate the colors

Just came across the video, great job! I have a question about bumper swap, I have a 18 680, I want to put a clean chrome bumper on it, what do I do with the cruise sensor??? If you only unplug it, there a check engine light that won’t clear, is there a reprogram that is needed? Would love to chat abotinar if you have the time, thank you very much!

Truck looked great, until you raised the hood, another hour or two cleaning the engine/compartment would make a big difference, for very little more expense.
The only problem ive had with the T660/880 is small tank/big tank
Fuel gauge was never right.
Make the fuel tanks dual 150.
APU in the hole opposite the DEF tank. And needs a wet kit and head rack.dics brakes all aruond.

What are y’all gonna do with all them Freightliner Coronado cabs since you don’t make gliders?
We also refurbish older Coronado’s and fix Coronado wrecks. We have brand new cabs for that purpose but we can also sell just the cabs and hoods if someone needed it.

Now your talking the W9’s and 379/389 are getting boring time to be inventive and do a few 660’s and 579’s and 680’s
Keep them off the road, 455 hp pulling 40000 lbs, they won't get over 55 unless you go downhill, my paccar head cracked around 400000 miles, $10000 fix , 690000 miles, oil cooler and oil cooler module went, $5000 repair.....

Cheesed out steering wheel, come on guys for what a steering wheel costs these days replace them! I know its a "used truck" but curb appeal is everything in the sales game.
Having a pretty truck with a paccar motor is no different than putting lipstick on a damn hog. It's worthless.!!!

I really don’t know why people buy these trucks, Kenworth and Pete really went down hill with these, they are ugly cookie cutter truck which in turn are through away trucks! I hate all of the plastic in them!
