Our little interpretation of this beautiful Gaelic lullaby from Brave. It was such a pleasure to work with Karliene once more. She did an absolutely stunning job with the mixing and mastering, not to mention her beautiful vocals and this music video! She's been a big sister throughout this entire process and I'm so grateful for everything she's taught me. I hope you enjoy our little song. xx

I am Irish American, not Scottish, but everything involving the Gaelic language family just makes my soul happy♥️ I am currently learning Irish Gaelic and it is such a gorgeous language! Beautiful rendition of this song💙

It's no use learning the language of ancestors if you live far away from your ancestors land. We should come back our real home. It's really sad this situation....
The cousins of my mother live in Canada and Australia since 40 years but they and they're sons want come back in Europe (Ireland and Italy)....but the poverty is a problem...it's not right....
@@Aryru-u8f They do say you live another life for each language you learn, though. It also gives you a connection to your roots, and you'll be able to talk to people and understand more of the culture if you ever do go back to your ancestors' land. It might not be as practical to study a language if you don't need to use it every day, but I'd say it's still plenty useful.

Karliene was the Gaelic guide for this song, as she's full Scottish herself. :) I listened to how she sang the words and did my best to mirror them so we could sing together. I'm glad it sounds true to the language to you!
@@AshleySerena Does she know Gàidhlig? I'm just wondering because my family and ancestry are Scottish, so I know that Gàidhlig is (very sadly) rarely spoken or learnt/taught. I too, speak some Gàidhlig and wish to attain fluency.

Hello there! Yes, it got changed just a little with "here" to flow and rhyme smoother in English. Sorry if that pulled you out of the song a bit, that's certainly the opposite effect we were going for. Glad you were able to still enjoy though!
