I tend to be different I tend to find my Mind can cope with 1 to 2 Series and Eps per day.is my limit after that its like binge eating seeming unhealthy to me
Yea, mixed feelings for me. We've lost the TV experience which is sad. But some things are better for sure. I had a large video collection back in the day. Tape degradation used to concern me lol. I now have a bigger dvd collection and with streaming services fighting for a place and changing attitudes certain titles disappear from their service (some for good) which is a shame, but I'll still have them to watch. It will be so sad when new dvd's disappear from the shops. There's a place called DVD Mega store in Shrewsbury that is a gold mine for anything you want to find. Old and ancient. Has some laserdiscs too, sadly only a token video tape or two but understandable as that's a very niche area. Great topic BTW, keep the videos coming and good luck with your move.
Funny that you made this video. Only yesterday was telling a mate, ive just watched the this is England box sets again ,86,88,90 and telling him not seen them since I watched them on the tv and had to wait each week to see new episode. Some shows still do it, like lots of people, the lord of the rings show are dropping a episode each Thursday now. Trouble I find now getting older ,i forget ,so watching them altogether is perfect lol. Great points you made dude.👍
Without a doubt! The wife and I still buy DVDs and she has a massive (and I mean massive!) collection. We did try Netflix last year but we cancelled it after under two weeks. So much crap on there, streaming is not for us.
Me and my mrs binge watch stuff now si buddy. If its stuff that's on weekly we will let it build up then binge it. I don't mind doing this but it does take the excitement away of getting hyped for next weeks episode like we used to. I remember when the walking dead, game of thrones etc came out years ago we couldn't wait until the next episode and it felt so good then when it came on. I think with binge watching stuff im not appreciating it perhaps as i should as i seem to forget about alot of shows ive watched
I miss how shows like Black adder, the fast show and Alan Partridge really pervaded the community. For me it was Black Adder in school and how the sketches from that weeks episode would be performed next day in school. then in the early 2000's down the pub we would have each other in stitches with Alan Partridge or the Fast show. Earlier in my youth, Red Dwarf was the only show I had the determination to makes sure I sat down at the right time for back in series 1&2 era. Rhubarb and custard I remember fondly and the rave tune that sampled it!
Yeah I miss those days of waiting a week to see the next episode of my favourite show And talk about it with my mates But say that I love the convenience of modern television, I do like to binge and even those shows that come weekly I save them try to avoid spoilers And end up benging them anyway 😂 Now I want to watch button moon and danger mouse, Absolute classics mate
Ideal was always shown late on a Sunday evening on BBC 3, I now despise Morden British tv now to woke and boring, I now don’t own a tv licence just watch Netflix and other streaming services
Ideal is hands down the best show I have watched in years so glad I didn't see it all back when it first came out. The past few months have been amazing
I'm a total binge watcher 😂 I had to be patient from the 70s right through to the 2010s. I have no more patience left 😂
I get it but for just one series watch it week by week with a mate. Trust me it's something special

I think once in a while it's nice to watch week to week and watch with a mate. The discussion and anticipation was great

IDEAL got me through uni. I was gutted when BBC THREE cancelled the series when it was on a real high!
It was and will never know if he survived but let's face it we all know no-one can kill cartoon head
Oy, series 8 was great...especially after 7.
I wish there was a 8
Oh red dwarf I was thinking of ideal
@@gingerhippygaming7962 I'd not heard of Ideal but you've piqued my interest so I'll have to check it out :)
Blockbuster>♾️ Netflix
If they did laugh in the meeting
Look it up
Most things that we consume have lost its magic, we don't need to work for anything nowadays. Its all too convenient! PS 'I'm on probation'.
Lol love itv
