Loved the video brought back many memories of my childhood, we used to make 4000 hay bales and 2000 straw with a New Holland 370 baler with Brown's flat 8 sledge and grab pulled by a selection of tractors including DB 885, 995, 1390, Same Centauro 70, CaseIh 885xl and a Zetor7211. My favourite on the baler has to be the Zetor which punched way above its weight and had a surprisingly quiet cab.
Cracking video. Love hay making! With the single rotor rake, rake the 3rd headland row again to tidy it up preferably the opposite way to the way you raked the first 2 rows.
Hi ,every one out it the field, you done a great job today , just before the rain comes. Gutted about the Ford 5610, Mike will sort that out with his magic spanners. The Kioti done a good job with the PTO to the baler. I guess a 165 bales you doubled that great job. As always a great video Take care
Well done JimBobs 👌 good job. Brings back at lot of memories when we used to stack them for the Perry loader and then take them off the trailer onto the elevator 🥵. I still miss having them to pop one in the wheel barrow 😉
@@finditfixitfarmit It was my love, easier than pulling slabs off of a six stringer. When I was a kid, it was very social and children from the village used to come up and help, I think they liked my Mum’s cooking 😉 x
Hi James , a breathing 10 series Ford is normal just like the fact that 10 series Fords spew out black smoke if ain’t smoking it ain’t working anyway well done in managing to make and get your hay in looks like some nice stuff.👍
Brilliant video for the first time on new Holland 377 next time you do hay again get a browns 8 sledge behind your baler 😊we got a new Holland 376 we had the baler since new in 1979 brand new
i always start rowing up on the outside ......do 2/3 rows around the headland then up and down with the straightest hedge but the secret is to turn around each time on what you haven't rowed up much the same as if you were ploughing with a reversible plough
Understand what your saying with 5610 but I would of used on the baler and put some load on it. Yep the rowing up is a bit lumpy which is always fun for the baler man. Glad it's all made and saved.
Yeah that’s what I said Mike said. But when we have so much to think about including using all new gear, filming it and having people help who don’t know what they’re doing, I needed as little worries as possible.
James , I think when all said and done you really wanted to spend a couple of hours in that quiet Same cab instead of that noisy old sweat box of a 5610 cab, who can blame you.
Just subscribed to your channel and to be honest you should try an Arcusin B14, C14 or D14 bale packer, on demo we've got one on our farm and they pack 14 into a big bale fantastic machines.
paused. having a good look.... hmmm.... how many littles..... bare with.... need another beer..... just trying to compare size of that field with 1s I remember..... 317. that's my figure. best luck!!
Well done it normally for Ford to do that we run all Ford and they all breathe a bit and smoke a bit no actually a lot if you turn the pump 😜 give here some hard would like rotorvator or dung spreader and she will be a lot better
i can only imagine how quickly Max finished up at school on baler day..Glad you waited on him ..Happy baling balers🤠😎🤠
Oh he was back in a flash haha

Tiss proper 👍🏼
Great job team, and strong yield. Looking forward to the fencing videos.

Thank you. That is what I tried to do haha, but with the field being so small not sure it done it justice 🤣🤣
Great video
Brilliant job guys, the baler ran so well. And the hay looked perfect 👌 👍
Thank you Philip. It all went pretty good to be fair 👍🏼
Nice one good having a team carting the head land first Thanks again
Yeah. That worked pretty good 👍🏼
That Manitou is just the job for lifting small bales, amazing manouverability!
Brings back memories of doing this with my dad good memories 😂😢
Thanks Anthony. It is all very nostalgic for sure.
Another Great video, The 377 is pumping them out.still waiting on hay weather to come here in Ireland 😩
Thanks Sean! Hope you get some this coming week 👍🏼

Thanks Shaun. Yeah we were all way out haha
Good job. The Ford would not have let u down. They all breathe like that. It was a common fault right back to the majors.
Appreciate the reassurance. I’m sure it would have been fine but I just had to play it save with everything going on that day haha.
Cracking old school bailing. Thanks again team

Nice, thanks Roy 👍🏼
I can literally smell that day 👌👌😂
Beautiful
Thanks again
That Manitou sounds like my norcar mini loader
Awesome video loved it 😊think your living the dream, the balers don’t like rakes they prefer haybobs for rowing up
Yeah I’m more used to haybobs 😂👍🏼

Thanks mate. That’s exactly what Mike said, nothing to worries about. I just wanted to make it as smooth as poss that day haha.
Yup don’t need no extra stress.👍
Good looking hay, and great team work by all involved 👍
Thanks Nev 👍🏼

Thanks mate. Next week for the other field hopefully haha
Very messy havin to go between 2 channels to watch 😂😂
Yeah maybe. But it is what it is, I’m sure you watch more than one channel on here 😂
👍👍👍
It would have been as quick to run the bales in with the grab , less handling got to be good!
Yeah very true. But I was under strict instructions that someone was using their tractor with the trailer 🤣
