The Boomslang is pronounced “Bome”-“Slang” but with an A like the first A in Amalfi. The snake gets its name because a Boom means Tree and Slang means Snake :)
These guys are amazing and no one fears them. When out in the Bush this is the last snake that I worry about. Adders are far more of a concern than these guys.

Boomslang. Pronounced "Boo~um+Slung". Meaning "Tree Snake". I hope this helps.
Boomslang directly translate to Tree Snake. Dont call them BOOMsnakes😂
Boomsland is Afrikaans and is pronounced something like "bhu-um slah-ng" but definitely not boom slang

The fact that they yeet themselves into the glass so much kinda makes me doubt their intelligence...
As an Afrikaans person, you did pretty decent at pronouncing the name in said language 👍
I don't care how South-Africans and North-Americans call it. For me, it's the Bonkslang.
"You're done kid."
"By the look in their beady little eyes you can tell they know exactly what they wanna do..."
