i was unable to get the connected port detected because of some driver issue. i had downloaded that universal driver, but now after watching this video, when i click on silabser, it opens the document in notepad, i can see the code , i am not getting the install option, so its still not detecting the port. what should i do?
How do I get com port for ESP32 espressif for windows 11?
I tried CP210X universal Windows Driver V11.3.0 6/24/2023
I use Arduino IDE 2.2.1 with 115200 baud, but it didn’t work.
The following works fine, Arduino UNO, UNO R4 WiFi and UNO R2 WiFi
Please help.
I'll check. But yours should have worked fine.
same here. do you find a solution?
can you make a video on installing ports because in my ide its showing no ports are discovered
Oh really. After installing the USB drivers and plugged in the board, port should be listed.
In my IDE, the functions, keywords etc are simple black text. There is no coloring. It is very hard to read. Can you help?
Try this

Anyways, I hope this picture helps. There are three usb ports. One mini, two usb c, but only one of them works to communicate with computer.See picture. The one usb c needs to be connected to the computer with "USB A -> USB C". Reading what others have indicated, they are saying about the same thing as what I am showing in the picture. It really took a lot longer to get it connect and talking to the Adruino IDE.a simple description or picture in this listing would of saved hours.
Thankyou Dante
Nice 👌🏻
thanks MAN! thanks GOD! finally it shows com port!
Awesome. Glad it helped 👌🏻
Can I use ide 2.2.1 on windows 8?
No. You need Win 10 and newer, 64 bits
I have installed the application but the display only stops at the logo, what is the solution?
Hmm, that is odd. Try reinstalling it.
@@HAZITECH I have tried several times to reinstall and the result still doesn't work, but when I tried to install version 1.8.19 it worked.
@daily_sunday1851 what is the Windows version you have?. This supports 10 and up
@@HAZITECH windows 11
@daily_sunday1851 hmm then it should have worked. Sorry no idea.
bro where is the code that u uploaded at last
It just a code I had. You can use any general test code made for arduino with correct pin numbers for ESP32.
Is the com port problem solved by this?
I didn’t get any issues with this method
@@HAZITECH but it's showing not connect with com port
Thank you!

This required Windows 10 or higher. You can use the old Arduino IDE version.
