    He was shaking. He knew he was taking a huge risk but it paid off. One of, if not the best Oscar speeches of all time, and definetly the most important. Even the Academy knew it had to be shared.

    • @axr7149
      @axr7149 10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      They always share. It was a contractual agreement between the Oscars channel and ABC where they randomly chose 10 categories (this being one of them) before the ceremony they wouldn't be shown until a month later on their TH-cam channel since ABC held broadcasting rights to the show. For years, ABC had all the clips on TH-cam exclusively for a month and the Oscars channel only posted a month later, and this year they changed it up in an effort to reach out more, but the broadcasting rights limitations were still in place and hence the 10-category compromise.
      Oscars channel have posted all controversial clips as well, ranging from Roman Polanski's Oscar win to Will Smith's among others.

    Full respect for Jonathan Glazer who is a Jew and had the courage to speak out what it needs to be said about the on going attack on Gaza! You can tell he was super nervous as his hands were shaking when he read his speech, he shouldn't have got the backlash that the internet threw at him. Pray that this speech wouldn't ruin his career in making more movies, if it does, then Hollywood doesn't deserve him at all!
