Yes, I agree!! Base needs to be a little bigger to be able to hold it down… if I’m correct it calls for 100lbs of sand but only took 50… thank you for this review!
Looks like a lot of stuff that might break/wear out and there probably isn’t any replacement parts for it. Like my Ringside Cobra reflex bag with the spar bar. Once it breaks, you can trash it because parts aren’t available.
I can get the Everlast Elite 2 Hyperflex Freestanding Bag like yours in the video, but it doesn't have the bar that swings around. Is that a separate purchase?
Add a extra bar on the lower part in the opposite direction to the top bar so it spins around to hit the body on a 180 degree spin, I guess they'd need to be welded joined together with a tube.
The bar height does look unrealistic when it's locked off but when it's in "erratic" mode it seems to be a good height to replicate head and body shots? How tall are you? I've never used a standard cobra/reflex bag but the training looks more rythmic fun & faster with a middle spring but unrealistic too, seems to just train muscle memory once you know how it comes back from a hit so that "erratic" mode is a very tempting feature being more reaction based. Shame it's not a more substantial unit, what are you preferring now?
Between this equipment and the stryk rxt1 sparring robot, which was more similar to working with sparring partner? I’m asking because I work out alone I have nobody to work with.
They had a reflex bag in the boxing gym I used to frequent It was not everlast It was expensive I was told And I saw it didn't last very long Before malfunction it is a good piece of kit to use and enjoyable to train with just not very durable.

honestly the whole "berzerk" movement aspect of the bag seems pretty cool. Might have to give it a try

Would you recommend this or the gordex black mamba reflex bag for starters ..?
It tells you not to lock both as you will damage it ..
question is the bar removable??
