    how could the garlic produce their roots if they are not soak at the bottom ofthe glass without reaching the water? I have planted garlic with this kind of technique but the bottom head of the garlic is soaked in the water but the body is suspended.. roots appeared after 2 days

    Would this be considered something like chives? Or do you eventually get garlic heads?

    6:09 it wasn't the garlic he planted at the beginning. he cut the top part. if the first attempt was wrong he should've changed or redo the whole video..

    This really seems like a method to grow garlic leaves, not actual garlic. If that is what you want, then sure, its an option I guess. Maybe best to use a high nitrogen nutrient since you're only looking for the leaves. But it seems like a wasted effort to me - better to grow complete plants, so you get the leaves AND the bulbs.

      I planted mine when the roots were strong enough and they are growing in the garden now. Waiting for them to mature. About ten plants growing.

    no care needed? How is this easier than putting cloves of garlic in the soil in the Fall and letting them grow? This is a pretty convoluted way of growing something, handling it several times.

      So if you plant just one piece of garlic with a green sprout coming out the top, it grows into a whole bulb with lots of pieces of garlic?

    With your illustration, you are saying that humidity from the water is enough to grow roots. At what point you move the plants from the round white containers to the ground. Keep in mind that such a containers are not deep enough to grow a full size garlic. Too bad you video only shows two stages but not the last stage; once the garlic is planted in the garden soil. Can you make another video showing the 3rd stage and how long it takes until maturity and the type of garlic you've planted. Thanks

    What's the essence here? Taking the garlic that is ready for use and re- grow it again? I thought he would take 1 piece of garlic and grow it into another full garlic 🧄.

  • @jonathanmulwa3825
    @jonathanmulwa3825 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Not unless you want the garlic leafs is when you can buy that idea, but there's no change in garlic 🧄 themselves.

    Way too labor intensive. The one step method from hand to ground soil is still the way to go for me Shelf life of garlic is too short for all this work
