Team on the right had more group routines and musicality. Teamwork and beat-sense for me is the most important element of a battle.. no matter how good your flava is, I think the crew on the right took it.
Havik all day long,good to see moy and Marlon still killin it,not sure but looked like rudy rex out on the last round. but my oppinion is havik had more footwork (france had very little) and france had more power and tricks but this is a bboy battle isnt it? so obv havik won and marlon got it so right with the 9.5 gymnastics score. but respect to all participants and to havikoro for their bboy flavour, their style of dancing is how it should be in a bboy battle.

Its like straight bboying and flavor/style VS some tricking :) i think these guys will never gonna understand each other. thats why it so unfriendly battle over here. but that's the way it is.
I looked at most of the comments, and i really cannot believe the insane comments. First of all originality is a key factor, however you also have to electrify the crowd at the same time. Just showing who you are and what your style is should not actually win you the match if the crowd itself was hyped by the other team. Also, to all those bboy (fake probably) kids who commented if your to biased to comment correctly then dont comment, cause any stranger/professional has to admit bbf was on fire
lololololol. This isn't the 90s anymore where the crowd chooses who wins. But at the same time I didn't watch the battle so I have no opinion on who won.

Simple. Havikoro is known for each member having their own originality. Originality beats tricks.
@lobzter Yeah, Havikoro represents a lot of the reasons I love bboying. They rock the cyphers, they all have their personality evident in every move (even simple ones) so nothing is ever generic, they battle hard but aren't disrespectful, and you hardly see them rep anything other than Havikoro and Houston. Glad to see them take out a supercrew that tried to tell Zeshen to be musical (child please, haha). Mad amounts of respect. Good battle from both.

For me, HaviKORO represents more than USA, but also an idea that has been lost in our current era. True crew camaraderie and true originality. Not just in the creative sense, but staying true to who they are. If you look at footage of HK from 10 years ago, they look like the same crew now, only more refined and advanced.
As for the battle. Depending on what you're looking for, it could go either way, I would give it to HK. Also, it's hard to say not having seen any other battles. Good battle.
