Fusion Mc is a dope bboy crew. I've been watching them lately and they're actually comin up from the cuts. You can tell that fmc runs their sets usually but they always look new every time haha except for leons air chair hops LOL those are iffy at times.
@djozrock971 In a crew vs crew battle "to hide behind routines" is called showing consistency as crew, which actually is the main reference to judge this kind of battle. Havikoro didn't risk, neither tried to be complete, not to mention they didn't show routines, the surprise is how could one of the judges vote for them.
Moy wasnt the first to do continuous Airflares. He's was the first to do them in an international competition. Continuous Airflares came about from Pablo of Soul Control. But of course once you have 1 your going to think about getting more.
Good battles, both came hard both put their hearts out, everyone was having fun. Judges looked at the performance of them too, as a crew and individually so people shouldn't bag on who should of won or not, its the judges who decide who wins , their opinion, they are the one having to make tough calls so no blame on anyone.
@4dhughes I watched the battle again and only 2 bboys on FMC showed musicality other then their routines, while most of the members of Havikoro was hitting beats, it seemed like they danced more to the music. We just have differing opinions is all, atleast we can both agree this was a killer battle! :)
and also there's more to musicality than just the beats. there's flow and rhythm that gets incorporated and a bboy's job is to express both of those. i feel havikoro did a good job in that sense but so did fusion
@zeshenone Intelligence, love for the culture and history, skills, and respect. That's a solid message that really represents the best of bboying. Can't wait to call you Dr. Zeshen. As a grad student about to graduate, mad respect to continuing your education and being the best you can be. Peace.
to me, havikoro just ran out of moves man, Fusion Mc still had a lot of moves in their arsenal.... nd turn stealing just shows that you're desperate....
@bboyib1 it was sarcasm...And I haven't been dancing for that long and yeah, I'll admit I only have a few windmill variations but I that's not what I focus on if you didn't notice. I'm more of a stacks/freeze/footwork person.
@Aurkus23 Yeah thanks glad to see other people got a wider view of bboying rather than one small aspect of it. Some of these guys needa go into an actual cypher...
@someguynamednik I believe a crew is a Family not a team. So, I'm agree Routines are part of the game. But at this one I seeing a Crew who did a battle as athletics game and a crew who did this batlle as a true bboy battle. It's not a "Step up" battle. right or wrong?
@girtisholland i disagree. I find that solo battles can get really boring after the 10 minute mark, if a crew can win based on choreography over freestyle ability then good for them. that's not to say that every battle should have routines, but that option is available if that's where their strength lays.
@bboyib1 dude there's more competitions then those two...Also you probably can't. Havikoro was active before TH-cam was around FYI. All the battles that happened in the 90's and early 2000's are probably not gonna be online.
can someone say unlimited commandos. Havikoro has every right to stop a never ending commando. This is not some dance recital or beauty pagent. Its a battle.
for everyone to know...havokoro has won freestyle sessions, they have been in boty, they have been to europe hundreds of times, they won jams in asia...several of them have been to IBE...they dont go to jams..they go on tours teaching and spreading the hip hop culture. Dont hate on them because u dont see them on youtube when you kats dont know the positivity these dudes bring. They went to south america, india, china spreading bboying and hip hop. they were the 1st ever bboy crew in vietnam..
@sixliones Sorry dude but BOTH crews had complexity in their dancing. Fusion had a lot of unique stacks and power combos. Havikoro had a ton of intricate and technical footwork. BOTH are top level crews so both are clean right off the bat. Again, it's a damn battle not a tea party. Both crews were smiling and laughing and shaking hands afterwards, when both were at each others throats during the battle.
Havikoro repped! Put it down for Tx! Both crews killed it! Mad respect for the skill it takes to even execute these power moves and combos! Rawness! Rawness!
I've never seen such a crew battle. The crew seemed to really disrespect the others and you can nearly feel the anger/aggression out of the video. Never seen a battle escalating so often ^^
@djozrock971 I wonder why it's called a CREW battle... guys, routines are part of the game. As a Houstonite, I LOVE Havikoro, but they just didn't respond in kind when Fusion did sets. I only wish Havi went off with more routines.
@TheBuncool I'm not hating on hard moves or blow-ups, but it seems like many times a bboy gets defined only by how big his moves are, instead of how creatively he dances or how well he executes his style. Ultimately, you want to be able to work all levels (in a vertical sense) for variety, but style is at the core. Express yourself. You can be a dope power-head, but if you're not dancing, you should lose to dancers, especially when they control the floor and pace of the battle. Peace
I highly disagree..... You can use a routine as a transition to a solo member to capitalize the set. If you argument was valid, then whats the point of a commando? Clearly, they were stealing rounds and time. Im a bboy myself.
I get the point about "routines vs bboys", but honestly, even if you look at the solo sets from Fusion MC, they're still MUCH better than those from Havikoro.
Havikoro killer musicality and footwork, FMC killer power ann team work. This battle came down more to judges preference, for me I think if Havikoro had routines they would of won. Crazy battle either way.
look, anyone can kill beats with toprock or by stopping in the middle of their set or something, that's been done since bboying started. When you take it to the next level like fusion mc and kill beats with advanced stuff, it shows that you have control and skill while maintaining musicality
Honestly the 2nd "round steal" was warranted. Palmer was backing off a bit when the guy signaled it. Then the FMC member backed off and as Palmer was going in he got pushed. That's not disrespectful? If you want to take the floor, take it. I don't agree with Havikoro interrupting but FMC wasn't hungry enough at some points. Regarding the 1st one, it looked more like a misunderstanding. Looked like the dude was finished and started toprocking as the Havikoro member sliding in.
They;re both flexible. A leg over the head is incredibly common in showing flexibility. It's also not common to use such a talent in a routine. Let them call out bites in battles. not on an internet forum.
@TheBuncool If I said toprock was a small part of bboying, you'd be ok with that, right? Blow-ups ARE a small part of bboying, because you can get props in so many ways. If you understood how much goes into a good round, that would be apparent. Moves alone don't mean shit unless you're in the circus or a gym. Bboying is about a complete picture, about self-expression which cannot simply translate to big tricks=better bboy.
@Sokyujo u are wrong, they dont lack routines...they chose not to do routines..there is a difference. And korea shouldnt have put themselves in the positions to get robbed. Havikoro took their oppertunities and didnt back down
@Luciole151 Dude, turn stealing is old school. You have to be hungry to battle, and that time-wasting shit between routines doesn't make a true commando. Havikoro had more individuality, hit more beats, cleaner moves, and they outbattled Fusion. I guess they lost because they didn't have the same amplitude on tricks, but vertical power and blow-ups are only a small part of what bboying can be. It's a shame we're obsessed with crowd-pleasing tricks and not the full range of bboying.
8:24 to 8:40. some of the best flowing combo/footwork iv seen in a while, btw what ever happened to lyrics and some soul in the bloody music. this endless beat with a scratch thrown in here and there is not music. its meant to be a dance in which the music flows through you
wow this was an amazingly intense battle!!
i love this video and the 1st guy that comes out has amazing
floor work!!!
Fusion MC!!!
Fusion MC... the entire crew brought it hard! EPIC.
Fusion Mc is a dope bboy crew. I've been watching them lately and they're actually comin up from the cuts. You can tell that fmc runs their sets usually but they always look new every time haha except for leons air chair hops LOL those are iffy at times.
just awesome !
@xJoeEdgex hahaahh OMG i'm gonna quote you on that one, that was amazing hahaha
fckn epic! i love both! *runs away hyped*
@djozrock971 In a crew vs crew battle "to hide behind routines" is called showing consistency as crew, which actually is the main reference to judge this kind of battle.
Havikoro didn't risk, neither tried to be complete, not to mention they didn't show routines, the surprise is how could one of the judges vote for them.
what's the name of the flexible bboy with the tank top jersey?
who is the guy on the US team w/ the red shoes? hes sick.
Moy wasnt the first to do continuous Airflares. He's was the first to do them in an international competition. Continuous Airflares came about from Pablo of Soul Control. But of course once you have 1 your going to think about getting more.
For me TH-cam has been sucking so was the sound getting higher and lower or just me?
Why did they make the noise go low at some partts? I thought my head phones were broken
Good battles, both came hard both put their hearts out, everyone was having fun. Judges looked at the performance of them too, as a crew and individually so people shouldn't bag on who should of won or not, its the judges who decide who wins , their opinion, they are the one having to make tough calls so no blame on anyone.
I agree. 8 members/crew battle and no response to the commandos. I would give my vote to Fusion MC
@LegendofOda Why u said that "They" were the 1st ever bboy in Vietnam???
How to adjudge if some team cut round. That's not problems for juge?????
what is the name of the tall bboy in white t-shirt and red boots from Havikoro?
@4dhughes I watched the battle again and only 2 bboys on FMC showed musicality other then their routines, while most of the members of Havikoro was hitting beats, it seemed like they danced more to the music. We just have differing opinions is all, atleast we can both agree this was a killer battle! :)
What's the song at 2:27??? Anyone know?
well dersevered win :)
What's the song at 4:30?
Fkn awsome.
and also there's more to musicality than just the beats. there's flow and rhythm that gets incorporated and a bboy's job is to express both of those. i feel havikoro did a good job in that sense but so did fusion
this was actually the finals?
camera man killed the mic? whatever cool video ;)
@zeshenone Intelligence, love for the culture and history, skills, and respect. That's a solid message that really represents the best of bboying. Can't wait to call you Dr. Zeshen. As a grad student about to graduate, mad respect to continuing your education and being the best you can be. Peace.
tracklist please?
name of the first bboy? he was sickk!!!
super loko este video
to me, havikoro just ran out of moves man, Fusion Mc still had a lot of moves in their arsenal....
nd turn stealing just shows that you're desperate....
does anyone know the name of the bboy at 8:07 peace
BIG UP TO BOTH CREWS..THEY BOTH OWNED CAUSE THEY ARE THE FINALISTS...FUSION MC'S LAST ROUTINE WAS BAD ASS THO
@bboyib1 it was sarcasm...And I haven't been dancing for that long and yeah, I'll admit I only have a few windmill variations but I that's not what I focus on if you didn't notice. I'm more of a stacks/freeze/footwork person.
I try find who have post the song name out...but when i am finding next to next page...i just seen the youtube fans on argue..=.=
does somebody knows why lil john is not dancing with havikoro and why he is dancing with killafornia?
@girtisholland RESPECT. Way to handle this conversation like a man
@Aurkus23 Yeah thanks glad to see other people got a wider view of bboying rather than one small aspect of it. Some of these guys needa go into an actual cypher...
grats to fusion mc... pretty good
@ 14:44, I could have sworn the check said quarter million euros! hahahahaha
turn stealin can be a prob but when you have a whole crew doin routine after routine i believe it necessary to get in there
@someguynamednik
I believe a crew is a Family not a team. So, I'm agree Routines are part of the game. But at this one I seeing a Crew who did a battle as athletics game and a crew who did this batlle as a true bboy battle. It's not a "Step up" battle. right or wrong?

Lol, just look at USA's reaction when one of Fusion's crew member did his thing at 3:54! Funny as fuck!
i think korea has one of the most creative routines ever
@bboyib1 dude there's more competitions then those two...Also you probably can't. Havikoro was active before TH-cam was around FYI. All the battles that happened in the 90's and early 2000's are probably not gonna be online.
dance crew vs bboys, nice....:D
can someone say unlimited commandos. Havikoro has every right to stop a never ending commando. This is not some dance recital or beauty pagent. Its a battle.

ONE BREAKERS ONE MOVES!!!!!
@moneydack you mean 21st century? havikoro is clearly the crew still innovating in the present like they always have.
Havikoro repped! Put it down for Tx! Both crews killed it! Mad respect for the skill it takes to even execute these power moves and combos! Rawness! Rawness!
nice idea 02.34!
Wait, how far did jabbawockeez get??
@bboyib1 Really? Extreme crew vs Morning of Owl to name one where there was a lot of beef. I'm Vietnamese btw...
love korea style~
I've never seen such a crew battle.
The crew seemed to really disrespect the others and you can nearly feel the anger/aggression out of the video.
Never seen a battle escalating so often ^^
That is some motherfucking awesome threading. Holy shit. hha
4000€ written on a check size half of the crew???? Fck man, thats like 500€/ea. Won't get you even a one way ticket to back to Korea.
havikoro always fresh, the one trick pony routines gets old but the korean bboy at 1:25 was illlllll
@Sokyujo they made it to the finals without any routines though
@djozrock971 I wonder why it's called a CREW battle...
guys, routines are part of the game. As a Houstonite, I LOVE Havikoro, but they just didn't respond in kind when Fusion did sets. I only wish Havi went off with more routines.

@djozrock971
the whole point of crew battles is the routines if they have no routines they are not a crew and they should compete in the 1 on 1 !
7:10 ....... i love those shoes
i thought havikoro took it, but i can see why it was given to fusion mc, they definitely worked harder to prepare for this
I get the point about "routines vs bboys", but honestly, even if you look at the solo sets from Fusion MC, they're still MUCH better than those from Havikoro.
finally someone states the correct statement of who won
Havikoro killer musicality and footwork, FMC killer power ann team work. This battle came down more to judges preference, for me I think if Havikoro had routines they would of won. Crazy battle either way.
@girtisholland Good point.. that still doesn't excuse Havikoro's behavior.. that was straight disrespect.
I like his footwork
I love zeshen style!
look, anyone can kill beats with toprock or by stopping in the middle of their set or something, that's been done since bboying started. When you take it to the next level like fusion mc and kill beats with advanced stuff, it shows that you have control and skill while maintaining musicality

The commandos were ehhh but honestly the routines after them were amazingly creative and very well done.
I really like how Havikoro is so "burn" orientated. They don't waste time!
They;re both flexible. A leg over the head is incredibly common in showing flexibility. It's also not common to use such a talent in a routine. Let them call out bites in battles. not on an internet forum.
@Danielarnborg
It's your right
Peace!

@girtisholland in this days if you want to win the big tournament, you want to do routines..
whats with the sound?......
@Sokyujo battle any of them 1v1 and u will see that they can keep up. it's why they are all travelin the world n winning jams and judging major events
Cay Fusion MC are starting to resemble Jinjo crew.
@Hi2Ly jeremy
RIGHT SIDE B BOYS- LEFT SIDE BREAKDANCERS!
fusion mc rocks!
Shouts out to the USA crews. TEXAS
@Sokyujo u are wrong, they dont lack routines...they chose not to do routines..there is a difference. And korea shouldnt have put themselves in the positions to get robbed. Havikoro took their oppertunities and didnt back down
the passion and originality of these bboys are incredible!! Fuck Haters, Go Bboys!!
as Mex said: "did you (hk) press charges? lol
@Luciole151 Dude, turn stealing is old school. You have to be hungry to battle, and that time-wasting shit between routines doesn't make a true commando. @BBoyStepN So true wish more people who comments thought more like that :)
@djozrock971
Hide behind routines? :p its 8vs8 no? Not a solo battle - and havikoro did a bunch of sloppy mistakes, that is my opinion.
FUSION MC !!!!!
8:24 to 8:40. some of the best flowing combo/footwork iv seen in a while, btw what ever happened to lyrics and some soul in the bloody music. this endless beat with a scratch thrown in here and there is not music. its meant to be a dance in which the music flows through you
1:09 ... Someone's biting someone, if you ask me. Isaiah and the LOZ have a very similar routine.
@TheGuider
If you want.
FUSION MC ALL THE WAY FROM KOREA!!!!
