So totally agree with you. Kick back, close your eyes and enjoy the magnificent music.. I’ve been doing just that for more than 50 years. Their music will never die.
I've been a pink floyd since 1980. When I was in QST grade our teacher used to let us bring in a song to play. Most kids either brought in pop or country, while my cousin brought in Pink Floyd The Wall album with this song about not wanting to be in school! (Which is what I thought it was about when I was 7!). And, BTW, in case your wondering, I brought in AC⚡️DC, Back and Black! And the song I wanted to play was Rock and Roll ain't Noise Pollution! And as a 7 yr old boy I never could imagine a song rocking harder than that song does!! And, oh ya, I bought Back and Black with my birthday $ That year. And I remember being at the store with my dad and him reading the songs on the album and asking me "Are you SURE you wanna get THIS record.". I said, "Ya Dad, I'm sure!". Miss ya dad, love ya bud, and thanks for letting me get the record I WANTED and not being like most parents and making .e get the record YOU THOUGHT I should want! My Dad rocked. Though he liked Charlie Pride and Kenny Roger's, he let me like what I liked.
they gave us a voice to rebel against school, the corporation and government greed we all end up working for and eventually against death itself. Floyd can touch every nerve and evoke every emotion in life. and yet David and Rodger can't get past their own pride and get back together. that is truly tragic.
@@scottf7891 The third verse clearly identifies its subject as being morality campaigner Mary Whitehouse, who is described as a "house proud town mouse" who has to "keep it all on the inside."
11 minutes and 39 seconds where I don't have to think about anything but how much I Love this Band.
maybe think about what the songs about?

You know what they say, both children and crazy madmen always say the truth.
Saw them in concert three times, first for Dark Side of the moon, second for Aniamls and third for Pulse. All three were great.
