    I bought this kit. No idea how to use it. Will you please make more videos. I want to learn how to use it with a diamond wheel point to cut glass tile. Can you show me how? Thank you for your videos. I'm a home owner trying to save money doing things on my own. I learn so much from people like you.

    My wife just purchased Dremel 3000 for me. My goal is to sculpt wooden bust. I am aware of many more bits I need to purchase. Thank you for your review. Let's me know I'm not thar far off the mark of learning as a beginner with this tool. Look forward to more of your videos! 👏🏽

    I am also a very happy Dremel 4000 user, I sold the 3000's and got instead a couple of 4000s.
    I love torque power from 4000 it is very good to get that extra force to work.
    Nice video, I agree.

    I'm very pleased with this model… th-cam.com/users/postUgkxfPgcZ5_Cl0HDUKkMJAKde11YKQZVgMoR great addition to my existing Dremel arsenal of tools and accessories. The convenience of portability is great and makes me wonder why I waited so long to go cordless.Plenty of power, battery longevity is fine. It's a bit large and feels a little bulky at first...especially since I normally use my corded models with the flexshaft accessory), but it's really not a problem. I got used to the larger size pretty quickly and haven't experienced any fatigue while using it (have only used it for about 10 minutes per "session").I'm impressed with this unit and can confidently recommend it for both light and heavy-duty tasks. Seems to be high-quality and on par with my corded models as far as performance is concerned.

    Should one buy the 4300 over the 4000? Thanks

  • @Shadowthevampire
    @Shadowthevampire 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I don't have a 4000 or 4300 in my country we have a 4250 is that the one you call 4300? Is it better or worse than the 4000? We also have a 3000 I tried it I thought it sucked but idk if I used it wrong.
    We also have a Dremel lite 7000 something is that one better than 3000?
    I want something that can carve in stone and make holes in stone and into wood and the 3000 couldn't do any of those barely. Is it because I used the tools on stone first and "destroyed them" so they can't be used on wood now? Do I need those fancy diamond bits for stone usage?

    • @rotarycrafts8760
      @rotarycrafts8760  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi. The 3000 should be fine for grinding stones. But it is a slow process. You can find cheap diamond bits on amazon. The 4250 is stronger than the 3000.
      Use diamond bits, and apply water to the cut to reduce friction and overheating. And please wear a respirator or at least a dustmask. The dust from some rocks can be bad for your lungs.

    hi. thanks for making this video
    I have a question. I need to drill 1/4" #5 reamer holes into maple wood with a drill press. do you think the dremel 4000 and the dremel router base will be sufficient, or its best to get a real drill press for this?

    • @rotarycrafts8760
      @rotarycrafts8760  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi. I have no experience with reamer holes. But in my experience the Dremel is just ok for drilling. It can drill holes up to 1/4" with the Brad point bits, but rotary tools in general have low torque but high speed. Which means you won't really be able to push the bits into the wood too hard without the tool bogging down. If you need some torque when drilling these reamer holes I would go for the drill press. You can also get drilling guides for cordless drills to drill at 90" degrees.

    • @rotarycrafts8760
      @rotarycrafts8760  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The new Dremel 8260 and 8250 have the best torque at lower speeds than any of the other Dremel models.

    • @TzufFamilyBand
      @TzufFamilyBand 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@rotarycrafts8760
      The reamers I use make their own holes too. No guide holes. Wow those models the 8260 and 8250 are cordless. Those actually have better torque than the corded models???

    • @rotarycrafts8760
      @rotarycrafts8760  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      In my video review of the 8260 I tried bogging it down at low RPMs. It didn't really bog down much. But I think the 4000 has relatively good torque as well for a rotary tool. But if you drill holes at low RPMs with the 8220 for example, you might experience that the tool bogs down completely. The 8250/8260 has brushless motors which gives them some extra power.

    Dremel 4000 vs Black & decker?.

    • @rotarycrafts8760
      @rotarycrafts8760  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. I would go for Dremel. I have not used the black and decker, it is probably a good enough tool though. But if you are going to use attachments with the tool, then a Dremel will be alot more convenient. I don't know if the black and decker has the right threads to fit the Dremel attachments.

    hey for wood carving i reccomend the new carving bit that looks like those carving grinder discs ..... i can really recommend it but a steel wire brush is a must for cleaning

  • @ap-gooner-9548
    @ap-gooner-9548 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Whats better this or the 8220?

    • @rotarycrafts8760
      @rotarycrafts8760  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have the 8220. But from what I've seen it all comes down to if you prefer a corded or cordless Dremel. They seem very similar in use and power otherwise.
      For me, i would choose the 4000. I carve wood for longer periods of time and would hate to suddenly run out of battery. So a corded Dremel works best for me.
      But if you only use the tool for jobs that don't take to long. And you really need the flexibility to use the tool wherever you are, then the 8220 might be better.

    The only thing the Dremel is good for is breaking the high priced attachments. There are no instructions. There are no indicators of which attachment is for wood, plastic or metal. I have yet to cut anything with it. And I have been searching their web site and the web for he;p. Whenever I try to cut something the bit's edge wears down or breaks and only scratches appear on the target.
    The Dremel site has a page "Pick the right cutting accessories" It shows a photo of a few different cutting bits. It does not always identify which is which or what purpose each is used One gives a speed recommended plastic but none for wood or metal.
    My Dremel is useless.
