    I genuinely appreciate the fact that this isn't a one-day makeover with free, new furniture from sponsors. Instead you are doing it in real-time and sourcing second-hand items, using your platform to encourage participating in the circular economy. So important!!

      That's why I always thought that you don't have to be super rich to have a million dollar look house, all you need is taste, creativity and a bit of research!! That's it, at least for me :)

    • @lavendermenace8078
      @lavendermenace8078 3 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      I agree! I feel like this approach is a lot more typical for most people, where you want to redo a space but you don’t necessarily have the budget or items to do it’s all in one go. So you gotta wait till you find a good tv stand on fb market place that is a steal, then save some mor money and a month from them maybe you could afford a side table set from ikea or the curtains you really wanted.

    Re-cover the 80s couch in velvet like fabric (green or purple or blue). You get to make it your style but keep a part of your childhood with you instead of letting it waste away. The shape is incredible I love it.

      In Scotland people don't tend to tip either but I always do because someone is doing me a personal service, and while we have a national minimum wage, it's quite pitiful. When it comes to something like delivering food if I can afford £20-£40 on some pizzas then I can afford a few £ for the delivery person 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Living room turned out so good but I do think you should continue the search for a coffee table. It would be more playful to go with layered round tables.

    • @VisionaryGardener
      @VisionaryGardener 3 ปีที่แล้ว +22

      I agree. I think the current one is too much of a black blob in the middle of a light space. It needs to be less visually heavy - maybe with legs, inset a ways from the edge. The chalk paint black isn't working. I actually liked the original one in this space better, but it was too big.

    • @shisah5544
      @shisah5544 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Round tables would definitely be a better choice for that space, I wonder why she went for one the same size as the one before and such a clunky one at that

    This is the first time I am writing in this comment section. I have been watching you guys since long back 3-4years back. From first video which was about loft for a girl in college and used for my room. I really really love your work guys. This series is my ultimate favorite, I literally crave for this Home series after the Becky wedding( which I have seen multiple times) decor. Keep doing the good work. All the best for your future.

    Is it normal that I teared up when you gave a tip to the guys who delivered the couch? It was such a nice gesture 🥺❤️
    Also, I was wondering how do you find all of these clips filmed on different days/weeks/months? Do you file them in a specific folder every time you film or you wait till you're finished with the project? I would go crazy LOL

    I loved seeing how long it took to get everything just how you wanted. I feel like most makeover videos come together so fast. It makes me impatient to get my own home done and anxious that rooms are partially done and I’m living in chaos. But at the end of the day it’s better than wasting money on things you don’t love or changing your mind about your style on the daily.
