Hi Hodgepodge See! Yes, it's true, the cyc is a lot louder compared to the bbsh! You hardly hear the bbshd at all, even under load, the cyc is almost too loud in my opinion, it is really uncomfortable when you go on a tour and constantly hear a loud hum! On the other hand, the cyc can be dosed much better due to the torque sensor and is therefore better in technical terrain! The new cyc would be interesting to try out, according to the manufacturer it should be quieter, is lighter and actually still has enough power! Best regards M. H

What do you prefer, the bafang or the cyc gen2? I heard the cyc is loud compared to the bafang is it that noticeable?
