I am very lucky to live in Pittsford and to be customer of this shop. I only started picking up my cross stitch hobby a few months ago after storing them for years. In fact, this winter I found a sampler dated 2000 in my storage box and finished it up in a few weeks - 21 years later! I’m now loving cross stitch again and I’ve been so inspired by Hobby House Needleworks in my hometown! It was fun to watch this interview and I’m so happy you could visit.
What a sweet couple! I’ve only recently discovered their shop but plan on ordering from them very soon. I hope that I have the opportunity to visit the shop in person someday. I have been following you since the early nineties and learned so much about cross stitch. Want to thank you for molding me to become a better stitcher. I grew up in Pittsford Village, just a couple of blocks from their shop. I now live one town over and was in the shop about two weeks ago chatting with Kathy and David. We went to the same high-school, about 8 years apart. It's a beautiful shop in a scenic, quaint village!

These two nailed it … I have an LNS that is really nice but their online shop is terrible. I rarely get to the shop so I use various online shops. I will absolutely give Hobby House a try.
I’m so glad the dogs showed up. I thought I heard an intestinal announcement and rewound and sure enough I was convinced. Then the dogs came into the show and I was so relieved. hahaha. That couple are so interesting. Thank you for the road trip interview.

Great interview. I attended your Melbourne and create a sampler class. They were fantastic, you definitely are gifted to teach. Drove from southern Ontario Canada and made it a weekend trip. Town is lovely and Hobby House Needleworks is inspiring and beautiful, will definitely visit again.
