    Most people seeing this are not horse people . But to those of us who are Stacy's ride is mind blowing. It takes almost unimaginable skill to do what she did.

    Guys, seriously, do we have to argue about this? Stacy has an amazing talent, let's give her the kudos she deserves. I've jumped horses bareback over three foot jumps, but I have no where near her talent. All of us who ride know that amazing things happen, but to argue about it disrepects not only our horses, but ourselves

    The video of you doing this ride in your wedding dress gave me chills and I had tears streaming down my face. I didn’t know who you were before I found that video of you while watching some reining videos, but every since that day, I’ve been soaking in all the knowledge I could to help my daughter get to where you’re at! I’m past my prime but my daughter just rode bridleless in a local show for the first time and I’m so proud of her! She’s only 14 and she’s such an excellent young horsewoman. We’re blessed to have a horse, Waylon, that takes such good care of her. They have quite the bond. I love your podcast and one day, I’ll get the full course! For now, I’m teaching my daughter everything I can from your awesome videos and podcasts. Thank you! You’ve been my biggest inspiration and RIP Roxy. You two were pure magic.

    I agree with Stacy when she has explained how her training techinique was developed to train her horse. She is a great professional that professional and amateur riders study to improve their method.

    When I was a kid, 1970, I jumped on the back of a Shetland pony because I saw it in aWestern movie. Even the little horses are able to buck (sling) you off.

    @katlynlee93 So just Chill out for gods sake and stop putting other people down Because real equestrians dont do that And PLEASE for the thousandth time STOP bothering me and go pester someone else. Any further comment s will be ignored, so i wouldnt waste my time fighting like a child I would go outside and practice riding

  • @quarterhorselover100
    @quarterhorselover100 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @katlynlee93 I don't know why you said I don't appreciate other riders, OK I think she is an awesome rider. I said NOTHING that indicated her being a bad rider. You need to chill. And if someone needs to grow up its you for fighting over the internet like a child.So what if I spell weird, this is the internet.I have always had an exceptional grade in English.I can spell however I want on you tube,I mean seriously you don't know anything about me so please top making things up

  • @quarterhorselover100
    @quarterhorselover100 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    @katlynlee93 First of all I said i did appreciate her riding skills, Im sorry if you misunderstood me i said the lady interviewing her thought that,I was just saying that you dont have videos because you said:well lets see the videos of you riding like that.Nothing i said was false,I stated my opinion then you jumped in and started a conversation meaning you need to chil out,I do appreciate other equstrians which odviously you dont,Im not trying to "prove im better"

    why did she not ask about the spurs on her boots digging into the horse's flanks!!

    • @Linda-hs1lk
      @Linda-hs1lk 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Are you really going to discuss that? If that horse would be stressed out over that there's NO WAY she can ride it like she does. Show some respect.

    • @pnhnut
      @pnhnut 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      apparently Catherine you do not know what spurs are for and how to use them. I think Stacey is a supreme horseman and she has a high level of communication and understanding with her horses, so I find your comment utterly misguided.

    • @mavel2038
      @mavel2038 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Spurs are an extension of the leg and help when your legs go past the stomach. If you had corrective lenses for your poor vision, you would see that they rarely have contact with the horse.

  • @cromana5574
    @cromana5574 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    How does she do it? Yes, talent, and strong spurs helping her to do the most unnatural thing: Spin horses. Ring bone later destroys the horse.

    • @annegulbransen3961
      @annegulbransen3961 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Are you serious?! Can you really not see past the spurs! They are simply an extension of the leg. If Roxy was in pain or uncomfortable she would have shown it. There was nothing stopping her with no saddle or bridle.
      Ring bone and breakdowns only come from excessive overuse. I doubt good riders and trainers like Stacy keep their horses at this level of training every day.

  • @bertbates7773
    @bertbates7773 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    While we often see much worse, Stacy is no more than really good at a broken approach to working with horses. Her horse Roxy should be at play when Stacey is with her, and that's clearly not the case.
