    Nice one. I grew up here and haven't been back for years. The midby area joined on to where all the new builds are and was just trees, long grass, nettles and we used to swing rope over the stream. And also as kids we played in the woods where the blow Wells are free of charge. It's a fascinating sight. Apart from that, it hasn't changed at all.👍

      Midby Park will be unrecognizable to you now. There is a walkway around the outside. There is a children's playground . Also there is a Bug Hotel and various bird boxes in the trees. There are wildflower plantings and coppicing. Although surrounded by houses it is a quiet and very pleasant place to go to.

    Beck means slow running stream in Danish perhaps the same meaning with the shared history.

      Likely yes. Lots of Viking influence in North Lincs
