These videos are so helpful 🙏 Especially sussing all the surfskates. I currently ride a standard 8.5 popsicle with thunder 149 trucks and Ricta 57/86's but very tempted by a C5 setup now. Wasn't sure if you could still adjust the front kingpin bolt once you've flipped it but you've just shown you definitely can 👍 Trade off with concrete waves Vs real waves.... Concrete it's either wet or dry and that's it, real waves can be a wild goose chase on the swell / tides but good for the soul. Have a good week chief 😎👍
It seems like after watching all three videos, that when it comes to these new skateboard style/hybrid oriented surfskate systems. It really boils down to personal preference.
Thanks for information just did it to a new borad i am setting up with c5 trucks i am setting up but used a pice of scrape wood to not scratch the king pin nut cant wait to take it to a skate park
On both the C5 and CX, the kingpin threads into the truck base when flipping the kingpin. Making it hard to tighten/loosen the kingpin. Any suggestions?
Hey Steve, once again thank you for the great content. I noticed each truck has 2 risers. Did you add an additional 2 risers or did it come stock that way? I ask because mine only came with 2. One for each side. Just curious lol

Los que yo uso, los mejores para bowl y surfing, y también entrenamiento snowboard. Saludos y like🤙🏻🇪🇦🛹
Los prefieres al cx? Con que tabla los montas?
Incredible
Hey Steve, I m gonna try a pair of angled risers and see how it works before reversing the kingpin 🤙
Between the C5 and Cx, do they have the same offset wheels position?
You are the best ❤

Can you screw it in?
Just Picked up the Santa Cruz carver C5 for under 150 on zumiez .
Old school sure grip kingpins fit on the front c5 truck. The wide button head means you don't need a top washer either
👌👍
Hi Steve, also for the carver cx that we can reverse the kingpin?
Yes, but it just means you won't be able to adjust it.

I actually think I may have accidentally added some before this video.
@@SurfskateLove ok fair enough! i thought i was missing mine lol thank you!!
My rear truck wheelbites with just the 1 riser it came with! How hard should you tighten the back C5 truck? Or I might add a second riser
