Enjoy the format an really like your comments on the resin add ons. Enjoy watching you build. Thanks for sharing your information and sharing your builds.
A terrific start to a build that looks to be a fun one. I like what you are trying with the multi episode build videos. I suspect that more people will be able to follow along. Plus, the "smaller bites" will be easier to digest and replicate for the viewer who wants to build along with your project.
Congratulations! You chose a great subject (Mustang is my favorite plane of all WWII, and one of my favorite of all times) and, as always, you're doing a fantastic work!! I can't explain in words how much you 're an inspiration for me as a modeller. Thanks a lot!!!
This looks like it is going to be a fantastic series. One thing though - for me I don't like seeing the next step finished at the end of the video (or the whole model). Would rather you revealed it as you go along. Anyone else feel like this?
Great Build Just ordered all the parts can't wait, hope mine comes out as good as yours, probably not but will give it my best shot, I think I've watched all your videos I'm Building the Porsche 917 now based on your work. I'm still a novice but working hard at it. Thanks again for you work.
David, I really enjoy your videos. You are quite an artist with your models, I find it inspires me to try to use new techniques and improve my models. Keep up the good work and thank you!
Hi David! Looking forward to seeing this one progress. I agree its great to see how you do thing in more detail, however, i enjoyed watching the whole build in one video. I'm inpatient and like to see how it turns out!
This is a great video and should be an excellent series. I particularly enjoy it, since I actually also have one of these on the go at the moment, and I also used the Aires cockpit and wheel bays (but I didn't have the guts for the engine and gun bays like you). I can fully appreciate the work going into making them fit - especially the wheel bays - I ground the top of the resin parts until they were paper thin, and the plastic on the top wing also. However, once they are in and painted they look fantastic! The Aires cockpit was a lot easier to fit - also with great results once painted.
your videos are great. the first ones i watched without wondering what the guy in the video is actually doing. it looks easy and not like and you can easily understand the steps and what youre doing.
THe Resin wheel bay gave me a lot of trouble. the resin part is too thick for the wings. thx for uploading! now i know i have to sand the parts even more
You have such great hand-eye coordination you could have been a surgeon. If you sent your videos to a top tier med school, I suspect you'd get a full scholarship. :-)
Dude I love your videos, I always learn something new! Just wondering if perhaps you might do more Games-Workshop painting guides? The few you have done are fantastic.
great video as always and very timely as I am about give resin parts a try. One question, could you recommend a good saw/handle combo to use for removal of the part from the molding block. Thanks in advance and looking forward to the next video
If you plan to use Alclad II paints for the aluminium exterior, could you talk about how to mask over Alclad metallic finishes without damaging them. So far I have always had my tape, even Tamiya tape, leave nasty dull patches by pulling up the metallic surface.
Hi, David. I've been looking at a rotary tool, and your Proxxon there seems to do the jobs I'd use it for. Do you have to use a Proxxon power supply with it, or just hook the tool itself up to the mains?
I say PLASMO your kits are all magnificent pieces of craftmanship and I love watching how you transform them into the most magnificent kits. I just have one question, how did u get this good?
Painting and again painting. It really helps if you do not make only for example planes but cars, AFV, ships, RC models and. You will learn a lot of technique and you can combine them together.
Quick question: what nippers are you using? They seem to cut through really nicely. Ive been looking at the $70 Godhand nippers but they're way too expensive. Do you prefer normal nippers or side cutters?
I have side cutter made by Tamiya, but it is expensive too. However, classic cheap Nippers are working fine. www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Tamiya-74001-Model-Kit-Craft-Tool-Side-Cutter-Pliers-Black-for-Plastic-New/1020391_1875602492.html
Po problémoch s dekálmi, na Mustangoch, (vedený rozhovor na sociálnej sieti :-)) čakám už tú časť keby budeš robiť surface, striekanie a dekály (Obtisky) :D inak parádna práca. (y)
I want to make more tutorial for beginner. I am a great fan of Quick Kits and Owen is very talented. I am working on tutorial how to paint a model with a paintbrush and make the same result like with airbrush. I tested for three months different colors and techniques. Finally, I found it and I reached perfect result so this will be really something. the video will be released next month.
PLASMO - plastic models To be honest, David, not really. But I'd like to know, for how long are you already building models, and what was your first model?
Thank you very much. I started to making plastic models eleven years ago. I mostly learned all technique myself by testing. Maybe this is why I started making videos about modeling. My first model was Eurocopter Tiger in 1/72 scale Italeri.
PLASMO - plastic models Did you always build mostly planes, or had you phases where you build e.g. cars. My first model was Revell's McLaren Mp 4-12 in 1:24, btw.
:-D Martin is my brother. I simply used his account. After a few years, youtube allowed rename channel to Plasmo like my web name. Is is like Blast from the Past.
Corsica? wow. I was here a few years ago and it is a beautiful island. I will go with my brother GR 20 trek this summer. Maybe I will made for p-51 small airfield with a few figures
GR20 is a nice but hard trek. Try to walk in the first hours of the morning, because even in summer (sometimes) it can rain very strongly at 3 or 4 PM in mountains (Well, if you are treking regularly, you know that ;) ) So, good P-51 ! Your job with resin parts is very clean ! Waiting for the next step ! :)
Meng better? They came out from Tamiya kit and make a lot of mistakes. Riveting is not complete, so you must use a lot of putty. wheel bay is not good either. Eduard has 3d scans of three original p-51 so that will be a much better kit.
And what isn't? There are many different "recipes" for Resin. There is no medical evidence that resin is more dangerous than pre-existing production materials. Inhaling plastic dust or colors is not healthy too. Just wear a good respirator and you will be ok.
Enjoy the format an really like your comments on the resin add ons. Enjoy watching you build. Thanks for sharing your information and sharing your builds.
I think that this style of video making is great and i hope you continue doing these type of videos after the p-51 is finished.
Thanks. I see what I can do.
PLASMO - plastic models vote???? где продолжение ¿¿????¿p/s
With your skills and methods you lift the art of modelling to an extreme high level, wich only a few can hold on to.
A terrific start to a build that looks to be a fun one. I like what you are trying with the multi episode build videos. I suspect that more people will be able to follow along. David , your work is fantastic. Thanks for sharing it with us!
Oh gosh! I didn't know what you were doing when you sawed through the fuselage. Then I remembered, he knows! 👍🏻😊
David, I really enjoy your videos. You are quite an artist with your models, I find it inspires me to try to use new techniques and improve my models. Keep up the good work and thank you!
Very much looking forward to the rest of this build series. Thank you!
Thank you for taking the extra time.
You're very very talented. I've learned a LOT by watching your videos. Keep up the good work, and thank you for sharing with us.
As always David, a brilliant video and build, I look forward to the next episode. Thanks for sharing.
Hi David! Looking forward to seeing this one progress. I agree its great to see how you do thing in more detail, however, i enjoyed watching the whole build in one video. I'm inpatient and like to see how it turns out!
I am going to make a classic video with full build too. I have a lot of work, so I do not have time for youtube. But I have it in a plan.
You really have a great taste in music for your videos. The songs fit in perfectly with what you're doing. Awesome!
Fantastic build , cool, cool, and once again cool.
This is a great video and should be an excellent series. so much inspiration, you are a true artist, great channel
your videos are great. the first ones i watched without wondering what the guy in the video is actually doing. it looks easy and not like and you can easily understand the steps and what youre doing.

Fantastic, you make it look so easy.....
you are a true artist at work my friend.
Thanks. For me art is painting. Cutting and grinding are just hard work.
PLASMO - plastic models art is creating. And without doubt you definitely create. 👍👍
I built that exact same model by Tamyia.... wonderful plane!
i like the longer format as it better view what doing. thanks
Nice work David. Scary stuff using the cutting wheel. Was nervous that you'd cut through the wing!
No problem, I have a lot of super glue so all damage on my body or model can be glued back together.
You are a Master Model maker just fantastic
Terrific job! Looking real nice. Thanks for posting this :)
I'm always amazed how when you start it looks like shit but when you are done it is fantastic. Keep the good job, mate
awesome vid David thanks for sharing

Fantastic. Very impressive work.!
Amazing work as always. Thank you for these amazing videos. I can always learn something from you, and I look forward to each new video :)
OMG Mustang ! I been waiting so long! Thank you David))

For some time I watch you work and I grow slowly to pull the pop magazine model airplane and to face it.
looking forward to the next episode. thank you for that one. can't wait actually haha
Dude I love your videos, I always learn something new! Just wondering if perhaps you might do more Games-Workshop painting guides? The few you have done are fantastic.

Once again a great video my friend! Keep up the stunning work :D
Thanks.
great video as always and very timely as I am about give resin parts a try. One question, could you recommend a good saw/handle combo to use for removal of the part from the molding block. Thanks in advance and looking forward to the next video
Nice work my friend :)
Hi David, thanks for the video!
Maybe is possible for the next videos add in the description the list of the aftermarket parts?
Did you mean in video or just in the description under the video on youtube?
PLASMO - plastic models Video description is enough... I need to stop the video several times to check exactly the kit you are using.
Great video, quality as always. Am looking forward to the rest. have you ever done a German 88 anti tank?
If you plan to use Alclad II paints for the aluminium exterior, could you talk about how to mask over Alclad metallic finishes without damaging them. So far I have always had my tape, even Tamiya tape, leave nasty dull patches by pulling up the metallic surface.
I used mr color 8 silver, however Alclad too but only for some parts.
Hi, David.
I've been looking at a rotary tool, and your Proxxon there seems to do the jobs I'd use it for. Do you have to use a Proxxon power supply with it, or just hook the tool itself up to the mains?
Jsi super modelář když mě modely nebaví kouknu se na tvoje videa a hned je mi líp.
tak to je super. Dík.
Damn, David, your videos have such a soothing effect. Also, I'm in love with your accent, intonation and pronunciation (no homo).
:-D :-D thanks.
super videa :) komentáře v angličtině určitě pomohou zvednout počet shlédnutí, skvělá práce, čím dál líp :)
Nice, love the video
Amazing build & video, and very inspiring too. Where do you buy your resin parts from? (engine ect)
What is your best suggestion for a Messerschmitt bf 109
This is quality :D
excellent thanks

Wonderfull videos, please try to build tank models.
I work on 1/35 tiger late version with Zimmerit.
Hey Plasmo, could you please let me know where do you get the resin parts from? I'm from Romania and it's really hard to find resin parts around here.
Hello, I found on Aires web, a list of distributors. Maybe this will help. www.aires.cz/en/distributors/
Great work! Did you use any stencil decals for the cockpit? It looks amazingly detailed!!!
I just saw part 2. Mind Blown!!!
Super 👍👍👍👍👍
Great!!!
great!
What can I use a dremel for, I found one in my garage I'm a somewhat beginner. I'm about at the lever Quick Kits is at I want to some day be like you

Yes, planes are my great love. however, I painted my first car model two years ago and it was Ferrari GTO 250 also Revell.
I have sprayed my 1/24 Nissan gtr with automotive paint and primer. Can anyone tell me if I should use automotive lacquer or Tamiya semi gloss clear
Hello David I was wondering why the channel before was called Martin damek and I was confused if it was you or Martin who was building. Nice model!
:-D Martin is my brother. I simply used his account. After a few years, youtube allowed rename channel to Plasmo like my web name. Is is like Blast from the Past.
Haha ok I heard you say that some Warhammer figures were his in the casting video does he make models too? :)
I have a question, how would I repair a canopy on a p51 mustang say I drilled a hole in the canopy how would I fill it?
You can use clear epoxy putty or you can try super glue and then polish it. but The hole will be always visible.
What spray gun are you using
Hi David,
Where do you normally get your after market rasins parts?
In local shop but here are official distributors www.aires.cz/en/distributors/
PLASMO - plastic models thks bro
Very good video, and nice subject. Any diorama in the end, or "just" the P-51 ? Happy modelling ! (From Corsica) ;)
Corsica? wow. I was here a few years ago and it is a beautiful island. I will go with my brother GR 20 trek this summer. Maybe I will made for p-51 small airfield with a few figures

Amazing video! Also, what nationality are you because I like your accent :3
Wolf Rider
He is from the Czech Republic
as long as it won't be notice able from a far thank you
hi, the cutter at 2:00 is the glass cutter?
No, it is Razor saw. JLC

when do you get the f-14???
I am waiting for new kit f-14 AMK 1/48.
wowwwwww
15 - 20 minut je myslím ideál. 10 mi přijde málo, ale 30 - 40 by bylo zase moc.
takato robota oddeluje modelarov od lepicov stavebnic (moj pripad) ;)
Why not MENG? It's better. Eduard is planning theirs too.
Meng better? They came out from Tamiya kit and make a lot of mistakes. Riveting is not complete, so you must use a lot of putty. wheel bay is not good either. Eduard has 3d scans of three original p-51 so that will be a much better kit.
You should wear gloves also when doing resin stuff.
Ducesweden it's harder with gloves
