I really liked what you said about your gray hairs in this video. I've been "going gray" for years now even though I'm young, and I've been super self conscious about it and always putting myself down. I've had a grey streak since I was eight and have recently noticed more grey hairs popping up in my fringe as well (I'm 21) so hearing Phil say he got them at the same age is weirdly reassuring.
I think grey hair/partially grey hair is really cool.
I’ve had white hairs since I was 7 or 8 or so, it’s just who you are! I like to think they’re manifestations of your wisdom instead ❤

It’s such a different look! I like it. He looks cool which in the most affectionate way will take some adjusting for me. I think if he gets some product like mousse or something to add some texture/volume it will look incredible

It's cute! As someone with a similar style (and also thin, flat hair), messy is best. Any kind of volume and texture is good! Never underestimate the power of blow-drying the hell out of it. Your friend did a good job, and Dan was such a sweetheart in this video. I think he finds this look quite handsome!

I love the idea of long term content creators learning how to release themselves from “being a brand” and feeling the need to stay the same for consistency’s sake to keep the audiences comfortable. Maybe thats not Phil’s particular case, idk him, but regardless I’m glad he feels comfortable exploring the way he looks and having fun with change :)

Honestly find the prospect of more frequent hair changes exciting. Hair is so much fun to play around with because it grows out anyway in the end. Also very much agree with Dan that the grey hair is cool! 😮

I naturally have an afro, and I used to have it long, in cornrows. It was SO MUCH WORK. Brushing or combing that much hair, that much volume, takes an hour, and I used to rinse my hair with vinegar to even make it possible. Drying my hair took all day.
When I went to uni and finally moved out of my mum's house, I shaved my entire head but for a padawan braid. It's so much easier. My head is so light now.

i honestly love every time phil makes vids about experimenting with his hair style!! i remember being really nervous like around the time he got his quiff about even cutting a fringe in my hair after having it long for ages but eventually i just went for it and cut it really short myself and have done ever since & it honestly gave me so much more confidence in myself!! like hair is just hair, i think we all need to stop being so precious about it lol!

I had stupidly long hair not so long ago. It wasn't healthy, and neither was I. Now I'm better, I cut my hair shoulder length and I absolutely love it. I'm so glad I had it cut. And I'm happy you're happy with yours too!
I'll be honest, when I saw the new style, at first I was a little scared, but by the end of the video I was on board. I think it's awesome that you're really experimenting with your hair style. If you do a color, maybe go blue or green, that'd be cool.

Loving the new hair !! Some styling advice (coming from someone who also has very straight hair): definitely use sea salt spray when blowdrying your hair ! It adds a lil bit more wave and texture 😎

Stunning, Phil! Hairdresser here, for hair color if you want to start slowly just get some highlights! You can always use Semi Permanent hair color to change the color of the lightened bits. Semi is generally easy to remove and switch out- and way less damaging because you don’t use peroxide it’s just a direct dye that you apply after you lighten.
Seeing you guys getting more comfortable on admitting that you both wear the same clothes (sometimes) and I'm full on here for it philly😔
