I remember Winter 2014 at YYZ very well! I remember spotting a lot then, and it was the first time I ever spotted in the Winter. This brings me back!
So many aircraft in this video are gone now, and Hainan doesn’t even serve YYZ anymore. Not to mention this was before AC/TS’ 2017 liveries.
Highlights:
7:41 BA93 (787-8) - BA rarely flies the 788 to YYZ anymore (350/777 are the norm)
9:26 AC107 (777-300ER) - This frame was brand-new at the time
11:49 KL691 (747-400) - Gone but not forgotten! (Now 78X)
21:36 AC847 (A330) - This was the only nonstop TATL AC 333 out of YYZ at the time (from MUC)
23:37 EI129 (757-200) - Gone but not forgotten! This was EI’s first Winter at YYZ. Now an A330
25:46 AF356 (A340) - Also gone but not forgotten! (Now 350/777)
27:41 The banana Air Transat! Spotters loved this plane!
28:58 EY141 (777-300ER) - still at YYZ, but daily now
30:40 HU7976 (787-8) - HU no longer serves YYZ. This flight was always a very common sight however.
32:29 AC857 (777-300ER) - This LHR-YYZ has now been renumbered to AC855, with the later flight being AC857
34:29 Now impounded at YYZ, since 2022!
