I was fascinated by the nails the first time I saw you!! You are probably the most talented guitarist I have ever had the pleasure of watching perform! Can't wait for you to come back to the states :)
0.52 ..... nice one bird!! ... perhaps everything in nature swoons to his 'ocean' ... a person who should be an inspiration to a generation of guitarists... love and espect
I'm your fan and girlfriend Rosanna Holbrook in Idaho I'm happy to listen to your band and good songs you make me feel happy and I respect your band and you
I live in Nhulunbuy were the garma festival John Butler was at and i can remeber when john came up to me and my friends and sat down and chatted with us ive been inlove with his music ever since also scored his garma tag off him while he was eating lunch :D
he puts on his old acrilyc nails or when his real nails grow out it leaves a gap, so he fills the gap with layers of super glue and toilet paper. ive used acrylic nails to play before, and i have never thought of doing that when the gap appears, cause the string always seems to get caught in it, its pretty smart!
I have a question... What Scale do you play in? As you obviously have a specific style and I can't figure out what it is.. I think you use the blues scale..but.. please do share. A great fan and followed admirer of your music, as you might see in my work.. but all the best in life. RobinTabari
i can't understand what he say when he talks about his nails, at 2:30 he says ''you put a little bit of toilett paper and then... and then paper again''. I can't understand the middle part, anyone can help xD?
He said you put heaps of super glue down. As in a lot of super glue. Just fill that sucker up with super glue. Then toilet paper. Then more super glue. Then more toilet paper. Repeat.
How can he make talking about bloody nasty nails so interesting? :D I could watch this over and over again.
