Fr, tbh the people buying the passes already probably have the conquest characters that they want from the first couple of rounds I don’t think this extra day for proving grounds will be that much of an incentive to buy it for them and ik this won’t change a lot of the f2p peoples minds either seems almost useless 😅
My biggest issue with those cantina nodes, is that cantina nodes use all my energy that's needed for signal data. Been farming ebon hawk since 4/330 and it's been a pain not getting signal data
i agree it sucks you have to pick and choose, but in terms of character and ship unlocks, cantina nodes are 100% the best place to farm them, as you aren't limited to 5 attempts per node (without refreshes of the node) since cantina farm doesn't require node refreshes, it saves you lots of crystals in the long run as well as alot of time since if you don't use crystals, you get more than just 5 attempts per day.
as someone who is behind on ships... specifically bounty hunters for unlocking the falcon... i get 0-1 hound's tooth shards per day normally because of my shitty luck... if it was on cantina farm i would be getting way more, instead because its not... i've been spending nearly 2k crystals everytime i have that much on the bounty hunter ships pack, to get me 15+ of multiple bounty hunter ships at a time which saves me several months of farming given my luck.
I hear ya. For me personally I’d rather just be done farming a character/ship in less than a month than wait several months for a hard node farm. I’m only relicing a few characters at a time. I guess depends where you are in the game. For a newer account getting characters to higher stars faster helps me out more.

Just hurts having to waste on the ships when I need all the signal data for the relics. Would be happy if it took longer if it didn't hurt my relic progression for the characters

They definitely need to find a way to get past conquest characters more farmable. Right now due newer players they are almost more difficult to obtain than GLs.
I feel like the problem SWOGH is starting to face is the farm tree is getting to complicated. I.e you need this conquest character to unlock this other character, that needs these 3 characters, that also require this ship. It just leaves you feeling hopeless and overwhelmed
Exactly and it’s like who the F to go for? Cus you can go for a galactic legend but you may need diamonds for those rare items to upgrade characters to relic. Best place is grand arenas, but if you don’t have good teams for grand arenas you’ll get less items

It is a great day for me. I've been hoarding my crystals since March this year when i got Doctor Aphra. Sitting around 16k crystals. Specifically to whale on the Darth Malgus pack. 4 packs later i pulled a 230 Malgus shards finishing him 😊 And cuz i had so many crystals left i got him straight to Relic 6 in one go. I have 7k crystals left of it. So it took almost 10k crystals for me. I alrdy had around 80 malgus shards cuz i spent my conquest currency on them before Its great to be in the SithEmpire today 😄👍
I'm glad you were able to get a good drop. I've been avoiding those packages like the plague. It's over 69% chance for you to only get 7 shards. That's a horrible rate.

I wish CG had reworked Proving Grounds into the Journey Guide so we wouldn’t have to wait so long, and made each character tier easier to beat. They could have made them farmable in the game currency stores, or at least added character shards in the easy mode of conquest.
imagine how many more people (including me) would pay for something like this, if it was permanent... if only they decided to go that route. instead ill continue to not spend a single penny on the game :p
I've gotten as far as I can this conquest and will unfortunately miss the Fury-class by 5 shards so I'll have to wait until next month, but at least that gives me more crystals to refresh! LLTKE
CG should add the Conquest exclusive characters back into the Conquest store. Sure you might be getting 5 shards at a time, but combined with proving grounds you can still shave a little bit of time off waiting for Proving Grounds to come around again every month.

Getting CAT f2p has made my GMK so amazing Transformational character for that team Hek, even works for a GLRey+Padme team for light side against high end inquisitors on the sandstorm
Id like to see conquest shards be more readily available in the conquest and guild event stores. Right now it's a gamble if the shards you need will show up. The Razor crest was added to the fleet arena store, I hope they give Malgus and the fury interceptor the same treatment. But I think that might have just been a one off.
I just reliced my padme team since apparently she can do like 3/4 of the proving grounds. Im still a couple months away from jabba, so may relic a treya team as well. Maybe once i can knock out a proving grounds i would by the conquest pass.

If they did something similar to General grievous in shard shop where he is pretty expensive but it is f2p accessable. I would say make them similarly expensive or more maybe place them there after a year or two, and move Grievous out of there
Why is it 3X farmable? You can refresh the event 2 times now. And the extra pass gives you another day of farm? Does it even include the refresh opportunity?

The math for the conquest toons doesn't take into account having to detour from guild required farms in order to get characters that can beat the difficult Proving Grounds nodes.
I honestly wish they'd make Proving Grounds easier. I'm not really able to do much with the game since I lead a very small clan. Being able to get the characters I want would be nice
CLS, Han, Chewie, Chewpio and C3PO alongside Padme, GK, Anakin, Snips, C3PO/Shaak will get you through most of them. Triumvirate works well for the Interceptor node. All three of those teams are fairly cheap (on kudos) and very useful in both GAC and conquest... Other than that, SLKR with FO can beat most proving ground nodes
biggest problem with the conquest pass imo is that its not a traditional season pass like in other games where it lasts for multiple months not 2weeks and the price for it if it were cheaper or would last longer maybe
Has anyone else noticed the really annoying Executor bug where enemy reinforcements with breach immunity do not get the unpreventable breach from Executor contract. This screws up Executor mirrors and prevents Slave 1 from getting seismic charge turn one.
Yeah, I like cantina nodes too. Have no need of the season pass plus. What would motivate me more is to get to keep the consumables, either normal or plus, because I don't usually need the consumables and don't buy the pass till the end, so I feel ripped off paying for them and not getting to use them. There would have to be a pretty good deal to get me to want to buy the plus, even if you did get to keep the consumables.
This feels like stretching the truth or phrasing it in a way that is better than what a player should really think. Each player gets one cycle of proving grounds per month (2 weeks of conquest, then one day of proving grounds at the beginning of your 2 weeks off) giving 20 shards per character per proving grounds. Now when you buy the conquest pass+ you get one more proving grounds event per conquest cycle that also gives 20 shards per character. This only doubles the rate at which you get a character from proving grounds. Additional shards come from the bonus track before a character is even in proving grounds so it doesn’t triple the rate of a single character it just doubles the rate of acquiring characters that are in proving grounds. It does less than double the acquisition rate of the current and previous conquest unit. You don’t even get any boost for the medium age ones you buy from the jawa scavenger nodes that aren’t on the bonus reward track or in proving grounds.

I will be stopped for being a bit short on Malgus' ship, but I cannot justify even $20 for something conquest related. Paying to do more of a grindy game mode that I do not enjoy. I'll just hoard crystals and do as many attempts I can at Proving Grounds.
So i have skiff needing like 100 shards and boush needing like 30 shards for 7*. I mean should i farm other things until they are double drop? Seems like i can get them 7* by the time they are double dropped, but kinda lame if thats the timing haha.
The only thing keeping from getting the Leviathan is the fury class ship. I will have 11:50 Malgus in the next proving grounds. So close but yet so far away. LOL
I got to 185 spending every last conquest currency when he was in stores. Now I can't beat the damn proven grounds event so I'm getting nothing for progressing.

I just hit 4 mil GP. This will be my second attempt at proving grounds. I think I will occasionally pay for this to speed up the process. Probably once a month would be great, getting conquest characters twice as fast! I want MAUL!!
The Conquest Pass extra day only makes sense for people that haven't normally been buying the passes. Odds are, if I have been buying the Pass, I have all the previous conquest characters and don't benefit from the extra day. I am guessing this is purely to lure new buyers in
Any tips to be motivated to do conquest? I struggle to have the motivation to one sector cause it’s repetitive, I am excited to work towards Malicos but that’s still going to take me ages so.
Well this would have been pretty good news except for the fact that I already have Malgus at 325/330 and hence really don't need him. I also just unlocked CAT, who's entirely transformed my JMK team. The rest of the conquest characters seem cool but I'm in no hurry. 'Member kids, it's a marathon, not a sprint. Good things come to those who wait.
I appreciate the effort from CG, but very few people will be low enough GP that they still need proving grounds, but high enough that they are making a big enough dent in Conquest to justify doing the pass in the first place. It really only helps out that first year you are starting to do Hard Conquest and can both use the help and the catchup on stuff you missed. Maybe there's a big enough bell curve there, idk. I appreciate the "free" feats more honestly, that feels like a $20 parachute in case I get super busy and can't quite get to my desired crate on time.
I think it's perfect. I can't max crate typically, so I'm always very behind on unlocks. I can't whale to have all the brand new characters, but I can buy the pass to keep up with conquest
I managed to get Mark vi to six stars when it was out. so this is nice. I do have too many characters to farm on cantina, I still have cal, sana and hondo to do. along with relic mats though.
As a swgoh veteran. The amount of of money cg is trying to squeeze out of the player base is absolutely disgusting. I stg every time i think they have gone too far they find a way to go even further.
It'd be nice if any new players would receive 165 shards for any conquest characters that have reached proving grounds prior to the creation of their account.
I mean hey gives people time. While I am victim of rush farming I think I’m good overall but I do hope more people get a chance to collect more conquests
I think what they should make the conquest pass + last longer because while i think 30$ is somewhat reasonable, it is crazy how you have to get it for every conquest season or whatever it goes by.

I'm end game so this doesn't affect me at all But I think this is classic CG -- equal parts smart and evil Of course if you're free to play, then this will be annoying -- doubly annoying because I think that if you're a light spender, then this looks terrific value. So,if you're a light spender, in the 4-5m bracket AND you have a team that can actually beat Proving Grounds, then this looks like terrific value -- an extra twenty shards of all the Proving Grounds characters, plus all the goodies your get from the Conquest Pass itself. Yeah, I'd be sorely tempted.
This seems very strange to me. They're attaching an extra proving grounds to the conquest pass. Maybe I'm wrong but I think the people that are buying that conquest pass are probably doing well in conquest which means they already have the conquest characters. So proving grounds is essentially useless to these people.
The bonus to conquest + doesn't make much sense. The main point of the less expensive pack was to enable the player to not have to spend tickets for the featured character, if you were getting red crate. There's not much point if you aren't, since you're already on a 5-6 month schedule. So, then, you introduce this. Who is expected to buy the more expensive version? A less than 6 year veteren, who has deep pockets and was asleep when the conquest system was implemented? This would be, in addition to, spending on all the new marquee stuff heavily for those characters to carry themselves, rather than all the funny shenanigans that a person who has played from the initial launch date could pull out. Of course, if that kind of player was that on top of things, they would not have been asleep when conquest was launched..... Ok, so maybe it is for people playing less than 3 years and not doing hard setting? But, those people aren't going to clear the proving ground missions. Thus, rendering it irrelevant. I honestly don't understand who this is actually intended for.

They are harder to get. I farmed slkr in 8 months. That's about half the time it takes to get a conquest character.

especially if one of those characters and/or ships isn´t farmable at all, but locked behind a shop rotation (looking at you malgus)

Like razor crest, putting them in shipment currency randomly will help players get shards who don't have specific teams to farm proving grounds

Has anyone else noticed the really annoying Executor bug where enemy reinforcements with breach immunity do not get the unpreventable breach from Executor contract. This screws up Executor mirrors and prevents Slave 1 from getting seismic charge turn one.

Yeah, I like cantina nodes too. Have no need of the season pass plus. What would motivate me more is to get to keep the consumables, either normal or plus, because I don't usually need the consumables and don't buy the pass till the end, so I feel ripped off paying for them and not getting to use them. There would have to be a pretty good deal to get me to want to buy the plus, even if you did get to keep the consumables.
I'm a 2.7m gp acc and when I saw the malgus packs I was so happy, I now have malgus relic 8 to round out my sith empire squad
I thought conquest was once a month, where it was on for 2 weeks, and then off for 2 weeks

How long would you think completing the ultimate farming guide progression on f2p would take?
This feels like stretching the truth or phrasing it in a way that is better than what a player should really think. Each player gets one cycle of proving grounds per month (2 weeks of conquest, then one day of proving grounds at the beginning of your 2 weeks off) giving 20 shards per character per proving grounds. Now when you buy the conquest pass+ you get one more proving grounds event per conquest cycle that also gives 20 shards per character. This only doubles the rate at which you get a character from proving grounds. Additional shards come from the bonus track before a character is even in proving grounds so it doesn’t triple the rate of a single character it just doubles the rate of acquiring characters that are in proving grounds. It does less than double the acquisition rate of the current and previous conquest unit. You don’t even get any boost for the medium age ones you buy from the jawa scavenger nodes that aren’t on the bonus reward track or in proving grounds.
Honesty? I think I'll whale on the fury class interceptor. So I can be the first in my guild to get it. When it becomes available.

Hey Ahnald, if you see this, since you have the teams and the only Omi you're missing is Talon, can you test out SEE, Traya, Nihlis, Sion, & and Talon on defense? For science, I wanna see if it's worth post Traya nerf.

Traya is perfect leader on other sith teams that counter strong bugs and some gg teams

You're those kids with three GL's that I dunk on with my alt account that only has LV. Go re-read those kits and how my suggested comp goes together. Then come back to me with something other than a GL that you think will win.

I will be stopped for being a bit short on Malgus' ship, but I cannot justify even $20 for something conquest related. Paying to do more of a grindy game mode that I do not enjoy. I'll just hoard crystals and do as many attempts I can at Proving Grounds.

Malgus? He’s really only farmable in Proving Grounds and packs/crystals. Likely never will be on cantina. They’re keeping him very exclusive.
So i have skiff needing like 100 shards and boush needing like 30 shards for 7*. I mean should i farm other things until they are double drop? Seems like i can get them 7* by the time they are double dropped, but kinda lame if thats the timing haha.
The only thing keeping from getting the Leviathan is the fury class ship. I will have 11:50 Malgus in the next proving grounds. So close but yet so far away. LOL

I just spent my 29K crystals F2P on Malgus... got to 165.
I got to 185 spending every last conquest currency when he was in stores. Now I can't beat the damn proven grounds event so I'm getting nothing for progressing.

Thrawn lead can get you tie interceptor shards 3 Star and boba scion 3 star. SEE can get the rest of the battles done
As someone who is at 3.5 and speedily getting toward 4 mil, I’ll probably get it next conquest.
I just hit 4 mil GP. This will be my second attempt at proving grounds. I think I will occasionally pay for this to speed up the process. Probably once a month would be great, getting conquest characters twice as fast! I want MAUL!!

CAT has become available for Guild Token 3 currency. I guessMalgus will become available there, too.
The Conquest Pass extra day only makes sense for people that haven't normally been buying the passes. Odds are, if I have been buying the Pass, I have all the previous conquest characters and don't benefit from the extra day.

Any tips to be motivated to do conquest? I struggle to have the motivation to one sector cause it’s repetitive, I am excited to work towards Malicos but that’s still going to take me ages so.

Well this would have been pretty good news except for the fact that I already have Malgus at 325/330 and hence really don't need him. I also just unlocked CAT, who's entirely transformed my JMK team. The rest of the conquest characters seem cool but I'm in no hurry.

I appreciate the effort from CG, but very few people will be low enough GP that they still need proving grounds, but high enough that they are making a big enough dent in Conquest to justify doing the pass in the first place. It really only helps out that first year you are starting to do Hard Conquest and can both use the help and the catchup on stuff you missed. Maybe there's a big enough bell curve there, idk.
I appreciate the "free" feats more honestly, that feels like a $20 parachute in case I get super busy and can't quite get to my desired crate on time.
I think it's perfect. I can't max crate typically, so I'm always very behind on unlocks. I can't whale to have all the brand new characters, but I can buy the pass to keep up with conquest

I managed to get Mark vi to six stars when it was out. so this is nice. I do have too many characters to farm on cantina, I still have cal, sana and hondo to do. along with relic mats though.
As a swgoh veteran. The amount of of money cg is trying to squeeze out of the player base is absolutely disgusting. I stg every time i think they have gone too far they find a way to go even further.
It'd be nice if any new players would receive 165 shards for any conquest characters that have reached proving grounds prior to the creation of their account.

You can get them all at once you don't have to pick. But if you mean spending crystals then probably malgus unless you own JMK.
I think what they should make the conquest pass + last longer because while i think 30$ is somewhat reasonable, it is crazy how you have to get it for every conquest season or whatever it goes by.

Lol, I can’t even earn any shards in the proving grounds because it’s ridiculously hard to do without the specific team so that conquest pass + is no more enticing that being an extra in the human centipede

Of course if you're free to play, then this will be annoying -- doubly annoying because I think that if you're a light spender, then this looks terrific value.
So,if you're a light spender, in the 4-5m bracket AND you have a team that can actually beat Proving Grounds, then this looks like terrific value -- an extra twenty shards of all the Proving Grounds characters, plus all the goodies your get from the Conquest Pass itself.

I dont have kenobi or lord vader so i havent been missing out on them, so i dont even know what ill do with ashoka and maul when i unlock them.
This seems very strange to me. They're attaching an extra proving grounds to the conquest pass. Maybe I'm wrong but I think the people that are buying that conquest pass are probably doing well in conquest which means they already have the conquest characters. So proving grounds is essentially useless to these people.

The bonus to conquest + doesn't make much sense.
The main point of the less expensive pack was to enable the player to not have to spend tickets for the featured character, if you were getting red crate.
There's not much point if you aren't, since you're already on a 5-6 month schedule.
So, then, you introduce this. Who is expected to buy the more expensive version? A less than 6 year veteren, who has deep pockets and was asleep when the conquest system was implemented?
This would be, in addition to, spending on all the new marquee stuff heavily for those characters to carry themselves, rather than all the funny shenanigans that a person who has played from the initial launch date could pull out.
Of course, if that kind of player was that on top of things, they would not have been asleep when conquest was launched.....
Ok, so maybe it is for people playing less than 3 years and not doing hard setting? But, those people aren't going to clear the proving ground missions. Thus, rendering it irrelevant.
