Having a positive perspective that you can change your life and committing to your goal, then you can do it! Thank you for sharing these ideas!

One of the most motivating things I've ever heard is: the time is going to pass anyways. You can either commit to your goals and be in a great spot 17 years from now, or not and be in the same spot you're unhappy with 17 years from now

"I must be perfect"...that's me. Our first budget I was so ready to quit. I also have fallen off the wagon for meal planning and I haven't gotten into the prepping. But I have build the habit of planning where to spend our money before it comes in.

Thank you for making this video. I have a phone meeting with my financial advisors next week Friday. I plan on contributing $100 each pay period to my Roth IRA. I get paid every two weeks. That phone conversation really put this in my head because I could not come up with a good reason that I was not contributing for so long. I know that my contribution will be small in the beginning but I do plan on contributing more when I ca.

your videos are very informative and help me shape the way I see money. I’m a teenager in high school and I think you should make a video dealing with budgeting tips for teens or something you wish you knew as a teenager. Again you’re videos are great and I bet you’re helping lots of people

It's very hard to save money when you make like 40k and live in an expensive city, like NYC. You have been blessed to have a career as a lawyer, and not everyone has the same opportunity to save because the annual income is so low. I really want to save more but it's impossible. Thank you for sharing

But she didn't just magically get blessed with a law career. She busted her rear to get into law school, study her butt off, pass the boards, and get a job. Nothing was handed to her. And she did it all while dealing with a young child. Unless you have a significant medical disability that prevents you from learning, you have the same opportunity that she did. You too can take out student loans, get a degree in something that actually translates into a job, and increase your income. If NYC is too expensive - MOVE! This is what she means by adjusting your mindset. Nothing says you can't advance careers or change careers or move into a better city.

They went to school and dedicated themselves to their education and goals. I understand what you're saying however I think they remind us in every video that regardless of income you can make changes to move forward.

They also moved for better job oppurtunities and were intentional about where they live.

Hey guys, I saw your investment video where you spill the tea on your exact investments, but would it be just as good to invest with a robo-advisor? If not, which company/broker do you guys use to do you DIY investments? Can you use both?
